Hi guys,
I used a cheap 1/4" adapter in the front inputs and when I pulled it out the tip came off and is stuck in the XITE's socket (yeah, lesson learnt, don't use cheap-shit jack plugs).
Anyway, as this front left-hand has its own Allen key-screwed separate section I was wondering if I could just unscrew that section, rather than open up the whole XITE to get the broken 1/4" tip out? Has anyone ever unscrewed just this section?
Is the front mic panel on XITE removable?

The 1/4 Jacks on the front are embedded in the middle of those nuetrik combos, and are surrounded in a plastic shell, so opening the xite might not prove to be very helpful.
A small set of electronics "dental" tools and/or tweezers might be your best bet to extract the remaining tip.

i've drilled out the back of that type of jack to extract a tip before, without destroying the jack. i agree, if you can fish it out, that's better.
