Hard disk died / fresh install DSP file problem

Ok ok so I'm still running CUbase VST 5.1 with sfp 4.5 , but I got it running so stable that I never needed (or wanted) to change....

...but finally my hard disk packed in, and I'm going through the laborious process of reinstalling everything. However I have got one error which I haven't seen before on the Scope :

"Can't find DSP file P-Plate Midi Dest Please check installation"

Guess it's looking for a file it can't find, it was installed from a Scope 4.5 version; anyone know where I can locate this file, or where it should be placed?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

scope\app\dsp

it's probably there, but marked "read only". if the installer is run from a flash drive or a cd instead of the local hard drive, this often happens. find the file and right click. choose "properties". uncheck "read only". close properties and restart Scope. the error should be gone.

Thanks, it doesn't seem to be there, or in the installation files...strange...a

Just did a fresh Scope install and it works now though!

Now I'm getting an XTC mode error when it starts " XTC plug not properly installed or missing STDM connectors"

Seems to work ok in normal scope mode...any ideas?

Ah it's ok, it all came flooding back. I had to play around with the board numbers and XTC host in cset.ini.

All working again now; except I used to have the mixers visble in the XTC project, but now I can't get them to show, is there some trick here I need?

[edit] ..got it! Needed to change DEV to MDL extensions on the mixers, working perfectly again now!

You know after running Pulsar for nearly 15 years, apart from all the teething issues, it's been working really well. I can't say the same about the other gear I have had: (all unrepairable)

1. 2x hard disks broke
2. 1x Nord lead 3 broke
3. 1x motherboard broke
4. 1x DVD player broke
5. 1x Behringer mixer broke
