Playback problem (multimedia driver)

Post by sandrob »

I have a small popups while playing Youtube.
The same thing happened on Winamp but I fixed it in the setting of Winamp.
ASIO working good.

BTW. Can someone update multimedia driver?
It is impossible to record over them and even playback is not working properly.
Cheapest cards do not have this silly anoying problems.
This is really frivolous for a company such as an Sonic Scope.

I think it's linked to how your motherboard handle it.
I had 2 1156 motherboards and i had the same problem, and it's over since i changed my computer for a p9x79 motherboard.
Maybe there are some other factors.

Some problems seem to be linked to 64bit scope system.
But i'm using 64bit now, and it's perfect. I was using 32bit scope with my old system and had some crackles with wave outputs.
Have you installed 32 or 64bit scope ?
Try to use DPC Latency Checker (or latencymon for windows 8 ), to see if your computer don't have a bottleneck somewhere.
