ZARG RD DRUM out of rythm Step sequenser on MIDI

Post by ARCADIOS »

When I press the on off button of step sequenser with mouse click it is ok
when I assign the start/stop button to a midi controller button(A800 pro ROLAND midi controller),
the drums are out of sync... and not always at the same sync.. sometimes ""almost"".. syncs, but sometimes its aout of tempo...
at the same BPM but "toms" come after or kick starts with delay etc.....

hi,
the on/off button unload all the delay lines from dsp each time, so this can cause out of phase delays.
I suggest you to leave the On/Off switch active and use the loop button for start/stop

In that manner the sequence will stop at the end of the loop when the loop button is off and will start from the beginning when it's On.

Yes, this way works ok....
But I still don't understand why start/stop does not have any delay with mouse clicking.
It only happens with cc assigned button..

That's the right way to use it live, it's also reported into the manual. It sometimes goes out of sync even using the mouse pointer, it's something that can be improved with a different approach, but it's very old device and no further development will be done
