connecting pulsar to Cubase
I run XP & WIN 7 ... as two operating systems..
on XP I run 4.1 PCI
on WIN 7 I now run 5.1
I installed PCI 5.1 on WIN 7 ,,, & got it set up... imported keys
my old Cubase,, 5.2 VST...also on WIN 7 plays back audio ..
media player also works.. as well as Wavelab ..
but my Cubase 6 version .. which is a completely different program..to VST
doesn't play back the audio .. I can see it in the monitor meters... but no sound output ?..
I have searched the forums ,, & can't find any relevant info..
which driver should I be synching everything to ?..
cheers Jules. Excel Music Studio ..

Re: connecting pulsar to Cubase 6
You should check the routing in cubase : vst connection, I/O ; in the device menu., Check if the right driver (Asio-Scope, in this case) is selected in the audio vst system window.
When you update cubase, you can copy the cubase application folder of the ancient version to the new one, like that, you keep all your environment, presets, shorcut, etc... You'll find the application folders in the start menu.

i hate dual boot machines. there are so many stupid places that things can go wrong...
be careful of sharing projects between the different versions of Scope. you don't want the v4 project looking for files in the v4 folder when you're using v5 or vice-versa.
