A16 Ultra died

Post by Shayne White »

Recently my A16 Ultra (SonicCore generation, not CreamWare) was giving me intermittent power outages, like it would turn off spontaneously and then back on periodically. Then, finally, it went dead altogether and won't turn on at all. I tested the power supply wall-wart with a meter and the unit is still providing power, so I think it's something internal. Is this a known issue and is there any quick fix before I contact SonicCore for repairs?

Thanks!

Ferrofish owns the A16 design and they fix them.

Oh, so Sonic|Core doesn't handle the A16 anymore at all?

sure!

Juergen Kinderman was the original A16 designer and he's the owner of Ferrofish. he started SonicCore with Holger and later left to form his own company.
