Re: install problem for old pulsar2 card in mac g4 mdd
Long time ago tho having installed scope on a full setup
(It's running since long time 'standalone: no Midi/sequencer, just adat/midi connection to OSX computer).
Yowhi, are you new to mac and or the card and it's software?
Be sure to prepare a folder 'SCOPE' on top level on your harddrive with exactly that name.
There's a pc background in the software, also expect a visible menu shell on your finder.
File and folder location is more critical than you might be used to on your mac.
Avoid blank spaces in folder names anyway.
Also check if the card seats well in the PCI slot.
No more time for now, I will check old notes and reminders later
Dit you 'enter' or 'OK' to confirm the keyfile?
If I remember well on mac you shouldn't chose 'finish' but chose 'Start Scope', or the other way around

If I remember well (it's been some years since I changed to windows to run only Scope), you had to enter the actual keys in by hand, importing keyfiles didn't work... In those days the keys where different in structure, and foremost much shorter... (or am I delusional?)
Anyway, in another age, a member called Samplaire was a Mac specialist who helped on my first endeavours. I collected some of his do's and don'ts and can send them if you like. That'll be someday tomorrow...

Re: install problem for old pulsar2 card in mac g4 mdd
I checked the manual book, where it says click enter.
You didn't confuse the 0 and the o? sorry to ask, but the manual mentions it also
Maybe Borg has right and you should import the key(s) manually as opposed to importing a all-keys file.
Probably you just have only the cards system key.
You possibly have anti virus software active?
The installer always worked perfectly here through the years.
I'm sorry to be of no help.
I never installed my cards on a mdd mac, as the STDM connectors prohibit closing the sidepanel.
The older quicksilver mac is the one I use.
