Hi,
I have a Pulsar II and 2 Scope Pros. I only was using 1 STDM cable and I had some issues with running out of DSP power and it gave me the reason something about STDM connections. I installed another cable (Pulsar II only has 2 connections) and I am able to load more synths and they use less DSP!
Right now I have these loaded with 6 voices each and there is still some spare DSP power left:

Prodyssey
Profit 5
Minimax
Minimax2
I couldn't do that before I installed the 2nd cable. So what's the deal with these? The more, the better? I noticed Scope Pros have many STDM connectors, why?
