Did you enable MIDI monitoring in Cubase on that track ?
Did you set up any filters (see Cubase > File > Preferences > MIDI filters ?

Just as a note, I don't use MIDI monitoring personally if I can avoid it. I prefer to keep on Scope what's already there:

Scope MIDI Source + Seq Source 1 > Merger > Project
and
Scope MIDI Source > Seq Dest 1

Unless changing MIDI channel on the harware keyboard/controller would be difficult of course. That routing makes sure I don't need a sequencer open to throw in a synth and play it, and avoids any additional latency as the setup you described above...

Just a hint, choose whatever you feel confortable with of course

On each cubase track there's a grey speaker button that turns kind of orange when clicked. When orange, the channel's input (receiving on omni channel) is forwarded to the channel's output port and channel, except for the things filtered in the Preferences dialog.

If you don't see the speaker, it's also on the mixer...

I see the midi note comming in on the transportbar from cubase, but its not recording?!?!something is wrong here !

can this have something to do with changing my system to standaard pc mode(after telephone call with CW support)
or is it just some cubase setting I don't see

Did you arm the track for recording?

Maybe you should browse through Cubase's manual a bit, it explains how to route, monitor and record MIDI in SX. Your Scope setup seems to do just fine...

I know I've worked like this all the time.

only after problems with my system I've reinstalled everything a few times.

I did get a strange message from a old projekt: somthing about midi settings(?) that it would only work after restarting window's

Did you load all midi seq's/destinations into the project as in Scope's properties in Computer/Device Management? If it says "3" there, load 3 of each in the project... Not sure if that would solve the problem though.
