PCI freq. (by SMU goes on!)

Hi!
I'm going to buy a p3 1000mhz and asus cusl-II,I know that the p3 must have the bus system set to 133mhz.Pulsar will go at this freq.?Asus permits to set the bus pci to 33mhz with the system bus set to 133mhz?

Subject: PCI 33MHz

33Mhz is the standard for the PCI buss whether the PSB is set to 100MHz or 133MHz. You're ok.

The only time it changes is for overclocking. Some server MBoards have a 66MHz PCI spec, but that's another thing entirely.

there are several things... like pci-x or pci64...
ähm... does pulsar run in any of these?
(32bit, but 66mhz / 64bit, but 33mhz /64bit and 66mhz)

I'm pretty sure Pulsar runs only on the 33Mhz/32 bit PCI spec. PCI-X would SURELY be the next step for Pulsar. That would open up a new generation of performance. It's obvious that the PCI buss is the BIG bottleneck for this platform.
