Re: Xite, rack and heat
I have this 2U gator bag which hosts the xite-1 and pcm91. I noticed xite can get very hot when using a couple of hours, but I havent had any problems containing communication errors etc. So for now, it works just fine, but I want to buy a SBK 4U so I can put in an 19" cooler (and a Clavia G2 e...

Re: XITE-1 Laptop
on the soniccore ftp site, there's a zarg64bit zip file. I want to know if i could use all the files from the v5.0 scope folder (my current xp installion) also for the new 5.1 install on the laptop. Is the driver the only difference, so I could just make a copy of my scope 5.0 folder, put it in the ...

Re: XITE-1 Laptop
Since 2 months Ive got a HP Probook (Win 7 Pro 64bit/Intel i3 with 4gb RAM) and I decided to use this as an extra mobile laptop and update to scope 5.1. I picked up the expresscard last week and Ive got a gator 2unit bag to host xite-1 and lexicon pcm91. Im waiting for new keys atm. My current syste...

Re: Device for tuning solfeggio-like frequencies?
I noticed there is a solfeggio synthesizer for native use, but I thought it would be possible in modular also.. http://www.kvraudio.com/product/ancient-solfeggio-synthesizer-by-ulusulu-music On a scope synth I can tune 1 key of the solfeggio scale to a certain frequency (i.e 417hz), but the rest of ...

Device for tuning solfeggio-like frequencies?
Is there a modular device/patch where you can set individual frequencies for each different key to produce solfeggio scale and scales which do not have the "standard" intervals?

Re: Adern summer sale
Great to see there's some progress on the Flexor front :) Are there any updated flexor files for xite-1 speciafically? Also, about 2 years back I started the "offline" modular course @synthschool where i could download the videos from the course. Because I moved to a new house, I didnt hav...

Re: problem with win7/64 and jb synth-pack
Good to see that solaris is working for 64bit systems. Are there also any updated files for the "old" 32bit solaris for Xite?
Prowave and Qwave SE work excellent on xite, but I still cant use solaris 5.0 properly

Re: Modular Mixing
- But with the findings of JK and RP, it seems to be useable (apparently, by using modules of 12 channels maximum to be assigned on specific DSP, that you could sum up in a Stem-24 for 24 channels) and like that, it should allow to use a lot of insert effects in the mixer. But it is still being tes...

Re: Modular Mixing
Excellent stuff! Ive been searching for a stable modular mixing environment for some time now. My "default" project is quite stable in the beginning, but once I add more fx/filters/inserts or new synths, at later times I get these annoying "no more sat connections from.." errors....

Re: A few last licenses for BlackBox II before closing
Hopefully you'll get your xite soon, and can't resist developing some new awesome tools :) I love your (modular) mixers, FAT inserts, and BBII modules. I use them everyday. It would be great to see further development for your awesome devices for xite, but for now good luck with the new job and than...

Re: changing projects to modular mixer
I found a better midi routing for use with or without sequencer. My masterkeyboard (Jx305) Is still in in 4x4 usb device. I connected the BCR2000 to Xite1 Midi IN. Xite Midi OUT is connected to the SE1X. In Hubi's Loopback device I select USB MIDI IN (JX305) as my MIDI input. I can use now both Jx30...

Re: changing projects to modular mixer
Isn't merging 2 sources together (xite+its image from daw ? ) a possible cause of midi overload, which could cause no sound due to too much data at the same time received by scope synths ? It could happen when the Cubase midi track receiving data is on "Record - On"' mode and sends back t...

Re: changing projects to modular mixer
Yes, you're right. This is how I used the SE1X for sequencing in cubase in my last track. This way, in cubase I can send midi parameter changes with the SE1x pots and record them in cubase... Yesterday, I tried some other connections also using the JX305+BCR to Xite MIDI IN, and Midi Seq Source 1 to...

allright :) this is how I connect the 4x4 right now. Midi IN A = Roland JX305 Midi IN B = Virus C Midi IN C = BCR2000 Midi IN D = SE1X Midi OUT A = / Midi OUT B = Virus C Midi OUT C = / Midi OUT D = SE1X Xite MIDI IN & OUT not connected My "basic" setting needs that I can record midi i...
