Re: Stop Online Piracy Act
I was not aware it was possible to sue advertising companies under current IP related laws. All of the sites that have my product for download for "free" have google ads - meaning google and the site operator earns money through advertising or subscription, but not the actual content creat...

Re: No Brainworx or SPL
Shame on Brainworx. Transient designer is a huge huge loss imo. SCOPE was the first platform to have SPL transient designer (and one of the first to have a transient type plugin} and it seems Brainworx has takin it away once they partnered with UA. Funny that the Native Versions and Pro tools versi...

Re: Stop Online Piracy Act
Im well aware of your opinion, Sounddesigner, but I specifically asked for any analysis regarding SOPA and the following : * Affects free speech * bring prosecution to legitamit businesses * give certain bussinesses and Governments too much power I have not yet seen any report that suggest the above...

Re: Stop Online Piracy Act
It looks like this current Bill can affect Free Speech, bring prosecution to legitamit businesses and give certain bussinesses and Governments too much power. I would appreciate if you could point me to some analysis of the actual Bill which conclude the above. Please no Google.com funded instituti...
Re: Mac OSX
Well yes - there exist third party interface products. I have a Macbook Pro with thunderbolt interface and I have yet to experience a complete trouble free usage of the interface - and that's just with additional storage.
Maybe your experience is different?

Re: Mac OSX
If Apple actually do questioning the future of Mac Pro (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/11 ... c_pro.html) what new Apple product can actually interface with Xite?

Re: Scope 5.1 bug free when?
That sounds great, then SC could answer most of my questions in the support inbox for the last year - only one is related to developing time (money) and that's the wave driver bug.
Looking forward to hear from them.

Re: Scope 5.1 bug free when?
I do have a showstopper - none working wave drivers in Win 7 64bit. I have not been able to use my Xite-1 for 2 months now. It's very unfortunately - If I can't develop, anyone interested?

Re: XITE-1 vs XITE-D vs ScopePro14dsp
The old ones (ADSP21065L) provide 198 MFlops for 60 MHz. The new one (ADSP21369) provide 2 400 MFlops for 400 MHz (so 1 980 MFlops at 330 MHz). The MHz ratio 330/60 = 5,5 The MFlops ratio (with same cMHz) 1 980/198 = 10 !!! The ADSP21369 can only achieve 10 times the performance on specific workloa...

ASIO drivers as Wave drivers?
Does anyone know of any solution that displays ASIO drivers as WAVE drivers? So I could assign ASIO 15 + 16 to a WAVE driver - then it would be possible to trick programs that doesn't support ASIO to actual use ASIO drivers.

Just remember that Wave Source works as it should (on my system anyway), but the Wave Destination doesn't work.

Re: Emt140 plate reverb!
My primary priority is a working developing environment and in my case that includes working Wave drivers - In my setup Im unable to use Scope SDK without wave drivers, I will be happy when they fix the wave drivers so I can start using Xite and the SDK. Im sure others with access to Scope SDK will ...

Re: Emt140 plate reverb!
The UAD 140 doesn't like my EMT140, but yet again, none of the plugins sounds identical to my hardware unites - maybe my hardware units just sounds different compared to the versions UA have access to. The UAD EMT250 does actually sound similar (maybe 80-85% - the overall tone is the same). I though...

Re: Emt140 plate reverb!
Yes. There're no new modules available in the new SDK 5.1 - I think the primary priority was compatibility with Vista/7 and 64bit.
You could argue that it's way more feasible on XITE than the PCI boards - I haven't done any tests.

Re: Emt140 plate reverb!
The Plate140 use FDN for the tail which can be recreated in the current SDK, but unfortunately there's also a small convolution part (probably 256 samples) which is more difficult to recreate efficiently on Scope. It can be done with a lot of feedback modules (1 sample delays). Unfortunately we don'...

Re: preferred format for impulse files
The convolution engine/plugin would have to SR convert the IR if the user is working with another samplerate.

Re: 64bit Testing
Just to clarify.
The bug is obviously related to the SC code and when SC finds the resources, they will fix the bug.
The current wave driver model have been available for developers since 2005 (infact earlier) and is very well known.
According to Ralf, the drivers worked in an earlier build.
