Re: 32 bit integer, 32bit float and 64 bit doubles - huh?
32 bit integer is pure mantissa, correct? Yes, if you don't make your own fp system. 32bit float is pure 24bit mantissa and 8 bit exponent, correct? Correct What is 64 bit(Doubles)? especially in terms of the mantissa? 64bit float have a 53bit mantissa. Just remember that you actual have sign bits ...

Re: Wow! Open Scope!
Just to clarify : there's absolutely no way to run compiled Intel code (VST, VSTi etc) on the sharcs - I see this move as something towards developers. They rewites the Scope applications to use the JUCE framework which is cross platform compatible. This doesn't mean we'll have OSX and Linux support...

Re: JANUARY 10th, 2012 - REVOLUTION DAY!
People like this should be very happy now? It sounds very promising. This is a giant step in the right direction for developers and SC. Most developers uses JUCE for the GUI handling (and many other things) so they only concentrate on the DSP part, so most developers should feel right at home with ...

Re: Recording streaming in Wlab7 via waves drivers doesn't w
I have reported this bug back in august (http://forums.planetz.com/viewtopic.php ... 9&start=80) - SC is aware of the problem. According Ralf we might get an update within 2 months time, so I would suggest anyone that want working wave drivers in Win7 64bit to write SC.

Long time Scope user - I don't think any one can really leave the Scope environment - I do have a Xite-1 (although unusable for me atm).HUROLURA wrote:Are you leaving Scope or did you upgrade to Xite ?

You can PM me an offer.oli wrote:How much are you asking for your 15 DSP card?
I'm pretty new to Scope. I just recently bought a 14 DSP Scope Pro. Could these two be linked/work together?
You can link them together - The Scope card includes the necessary cables.

Re: New PC -> Error: PCI Bandwidth limit reached - HELP!
the info is factual, the PCI bus is NOT natively supported with the p67 and it IS one of the worst performing chipsets(for PCI performance ONLY) since the pentium, true. :D Since the p67 doesn't have native support for the PCI interface, then how can it be the worst performing chipset regarding PCI...

Re: waterfront/water... back
Youtube/Google have implemented audio analysis into the upload process - the major labels are part of this program. I don't know if your use of the music can be classified as 'fair use' - otherwise your can't not use copyrighted material, obviously.

Re: Scope SDK - Surface-Design help
Press the edit button at the top of the environment - then you're able to delete the text 'Connect the audio inputs.....' etc.
Then move your algorithm module to the Empty Effect module and start from there.

Re: Scope SDK - Surface-Design help
yes, i know, but there are a lot of things missing! Oh yes. That's why we have uploaded additional documentation in one of the threads. There exist a lot modules not present in the current version of the SDK. take - for example - the "InsertSlot S".. there you need a ModuleDrop for the Sl...

You should have 2 folders called 'Device Design' and 'Surface Design' which contains templates and modules to build your surface.

Re: No Brainworx or SPL
Yes there are still some 'active' Third-Party developers for SCOPE and i'm sure many of the 'inactive' will be activated soon as various issues they have are solved (Are'nt you one of them?}. Well, Im not sure it ever happens. I have asked for some functionality in the SDK for over 4 years now with...

To me, it is like someone tring to send a bag of illegal drugs through a shipping company like DHL....does DHL now have to check the legality of the contents of ALL shipments? Re: No Brainworx or SPL
Yeah, but they still could of kept the plug ins on the scope platform as well. They could, but for what reason? I would estimate that SC sell maximum 2-3 Transient Designer plugins a year. Do SPL even get paid for those 2-3 plugins? And if they did, how much? 20 euros? For those kind of sales there...
