If you use ableton live 9, you have to run it in compatibility mode. the VST "Addictive Keys" doesn't work if host is run in comp mode. I haven't stumbled upon any other VSTs with this issue, although they might exist.

Yeah i've tried the classic stuff, in win10 mode at least i get an error that the scope drivers is not available, but when i run comp mode for win 8 or 7 VCVrack doesn't even start. It's still in early development though so i guess there are things to iron out. I guess i'll stick to Reaktor blocks (...

Well if Wavasaur is working properly, you should have no issues running Ableton Live as well, as long as you run in comp mode for win 8. I just double checked, and it is still needed (my Live version is up to date).

Forgot about the compatibility mode for Ableton Live, you are absolutely right Gary. I seem to remember Reaper was working without any issues, so that might be a way to double check.
