Check your connection to the Behringer, check the Behringer itself.
When you haven't a proper master in your chain, your system is completely scrambled, and no drivers available.

Good luck, Thomas

There's an easy way to free up some DSP - in the LiveBar you just can set the number of polyphony to 0 on the synth you temporarily don't need.

Switching out the master in the digital chain will cause endless trouble in every time ... Most of us made such experiences, I guess.

A new stable sts-sampler with more possibilities to import (kontakt or giga files) and disk streaming would be my biggest wish.

Nice little try. The piano doesn't sound too harsh to me. You could spread the panorama a little bit, i.e. the double basses more right. The contra-bassoon sounds a bit strange. Try to put it more into the background and use a LPF. How big is an orchestra? 150 musicians is very big. With this amount...

Yes. Boesendorfer has a very special character. Sounds majestic.
Yamaha is easier to play, but doesn't sound interesting. Just like a grand piano, nothing else.
I played both, but my favourite is Steinway.
Only my opinion.

An additional wish: a bugfree sts-sampler. And it should be able to read Kontakt- and Giga-files (including disk streaming).

I'm afraid that in a few years there won't be available any boards with PCI. Think about the history of the ISA bus. So I won't expect a significant better performance with PCIe, but all of us and all new users who buy a new PC without PCI and cannot use their beloved Scopes? What a terrible thought...

OT: Tom, did you see the Valkyrie from Aix-en-Provence on TV with the Berlin Philharmonic? What an incredible performance! BTW, the Wotan from this performance, Willard White, is the Porgy from a Porgy-and-Bess-record I bought ca. 30 years ago...

I love the STS really, but ... 1. I don't play live with Scope 2. I wouldn't take it to live play, cos sometimes my DAW crashes down while working with the sts. Maybe sts and winxp don't match perfectly - on my old DAW with win98se I have never propplemmms with sts! Try to import your AKAI CD...

Well, the G450 is a little bit poor nowadays ...
In my DAW there is a G650. It's a PCI-e card and has more RAM. No problem with 2 19" monitors. The view of the stm 2448 is really great!

Can you rename the presets? Synth bass is hard to separate from synth bRass!
My Roland XV-5050 has categories with max. 3 CAPITALs like SYN, BAS, PAD, BRS etc. etc.
If you put these abbreviations on the beginning of every patch name, it would be quite more clear.
Only a thought. :)
