Re: Upgrading PI to PII - increase bandwidth?
Great! I came across an offer here at home today. It's a Pulsar II with sync plate. The cost is EUR 200,- / USD 250,- which seems reasonable.

Upgrading PI to PII - increase bandwidth?
Hello, I have a system w/ Luna II, Pulsar II and a Pulsar I. The system is fairly sensitive to DSP overload when I do projects with a lot of connections (ADAT, Z-link, ASIO), or if I increase the polyphony of several synths in a project. I now consider replacing the Pulsar I with a seconhand Pulsar ...

Re: How to unblock your Noah?
I think you can just download the remaining plugins from the SC site as they do not require a key for registration. I think I read somewhere that the final plugs were released free of charge after the platform was abandoned. I can´t verify as I purchased mine (Prodyssey and Pro 5), but the beta of V...

Show me your V7
This is a Scope V7 appreciation thread. Take a screenshot and upload! I just felt the urge to say that V7 fits perfect with Cubase Elements 9. Good for the small project studio user. Acoustic sources such as my jazz bass and a small Yamaha ukulele guitar blends nicely together in a small test projec...

Re: Scope 7 Bug List
Could someone post a "sticky" on how to make a proper new install of v7 over previous versions? What to do: remove the 5.1 by cutting it from the file browser, or make a new install over the existing 5.1. And, what is the best way to re-install third party plugins?

Any Black Friday offer?
Would be interesting to check the response of the S|C community if a short, one day, Black Friday offer came up. How about reducing the cost for the 5.1 upgrade to ensure all users are up to date and prepared for future devices?

Noah integration with Scope 5.1
Note to myself: Noah EX works well as an externsion of Scope 5.1 which runs on my main DAW. Audio has suceesfully been sent from Noah to Scop via ADAT. Noahs mixer allows the user to select destination of each mixer track, among these are analogue, Adat 1-2, Adat 3-4, Adat 5-6, USB 1-2 etc. Test set...

New / unused PCI cards still available?
Does anyone know if there are still new/unused PCI cards (Luna II, Pulsar II, Scope) for sale? I am a little reluctand to buying secondhand as some cards may have been used for 15 years by now.
Link to reseller would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Bowen's synths on Win 7 64bit
just get rid of the thing1 and thing2 samples. don't load anything into the sample oscs. the synths will work. What would be the smart thing to do here? Downgrade to W7/32 to be able to run STS and Bowen? I am never going to go beyond the 4GB ram that I have installed in my current system, which is...

Re: Bowen's synths on Win 7 64bit
I believe they do work in 64bit. Have a look here: http://scope.zone/index.php?id=1978&lg=en&d_2336=server/public/scope/scope_plug-ins/john_bowen_zarg Thanks, I am aware of this. I have dropped the files under "App/Sys" (I believe, not at my DAW now). All the files are .SYS so I t...

Re: Bowen's synths on Win 7 64bit
Nah, it's definately a no-go. I just loaded a 3 voice instance of Dark Star with plenty of DSP headroom, and it crashed w/BSOD. No chance it will work.

Re: Bowen's synths on Win 7 64bit
I suspected that the wav and sample oscillators caused the trouble I have experienced. Then I may be wrong. I have probably to few dsps (13) for those big synth designs. Changing presets on a 3 voice instance of Rotor brings the system to its knees.

Bowen's synths on Win 7 64bit
Are John Bowen's devices compatible with Win 7/64? I just re-installed the bundle that I purchased a few years ago, and most devices crash when I change presents and result in BSOD.

Re: Can I expect the STS 3-5000 (x64) to work under W7 x64 ?
Is the Sampleplayer V5 stable under W7 64 bit? I have not tried yet, then I do not know what to expect either. Why is it there in the first place? The STS Series is supposedly working in 32bit environment, so is this an alternative for 64bit users? http://scope.zone/index.php?id=1978&lg=en&d...

A way of making Sonic|Core great again (beyond the opinions of an insider forum like Planetz) is by increasing the user base and by having innovative plugins made by S|C and third party developers. S|C exists in a competitive market and high quality apps and programs run native for less costs than e...

Re: Can I expect the STS 3-5000 (x64) to work under W7 x64 ?
Tried again last night and loaded 3 akai S1000 programs from Ilios 'Modern Songwriter' onto instances of STS 2000 - 5000 (x64). Assigned those to 3 different channels. Triggered a few simple seqences from Ableton live to midi channel 1-3 and here we go: The polyfony settings seem to be broken as the...
