Re: Masterverb Test Thread

Yes. I did the guinea pig thing because 'q77' gave zero search results, so I hoped the different block diagram compared to i.e. the z77 chipset would hide a little treat for me.

Re: Masterverb Test Thread

Ah well. Here is a route not to go. I have this 3570K processor on an itx board, so I thought: "Why not buy a motherboard with the q77 chipset". It is likely the last chipset with build in PCI support." The choices where very sparse. I ended up with the Asus P8Q77M. I installed win 8....

Re: any recommendations for headphone amp?

Worst headphones ever must be the t.bone HD990D from Thomann. They have hard flat "membranes" (there is likely a tactile transducer on the other side of the hard board). And these are only recessed 9 mm from the outer edge of the plastic/foam rings ... and those 9 mm gets even smaller, whe...

Re: Can you help me understand SAT connection and reboot err

Thanks Petal I have tried, DSP 1, 2, 7, 8, 11 and 18 (automatic) and probably others too. I noticed something strange. When loading on DSP 1 or 2, I got an error when I tried to raise the trackcount to 32. On DSP 7, I could take it to 56 and got an error at 64. I think I remember these numbers right...

Can you help me understand SAT connection and reboot errors?

I never used anything but sparse projects with my Xite-1. But Yesterday, I started to use the VDAT, and since then, I have had issues with Scope. Background info The first issue I encountered was saving my project with VDAT in it with a tape. The next time, I opened the project, Scope had made a new...

Did you know, you can play this keyboard with your keyboard? Almost all of the keys work.

Re: pops and clicks xite -1d windows 7 64bit

I am also contemplating a new pc with http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D65SKGW/ref=gno_cart_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER If scope did not sound so good I would be back on my mac! When I'll get an Xite-1 (D) hopefully later this year, I'll connect it to a Mac Mini via the Thun...

(I was in northern Italy for three days, though)

Re: Bye bye faithful A16

The A16 Ultra is 24 bit. As far as I know, the only 20 bit Creamware/Sonic Core hardware was the analog inputs on the first generation Pulsar cards.

(I am not sure about the first generation Scope cards)
