and better signal to noise doesn't mean better sound. rme is overrated and overpriced these days. back in the days (pre-hdsp) they were cool, but the more shit they kept on adding, the worse their sound became. yes, they are still good but you can have MOTU for cheaper.

actually i see sc-plate (ex- stw p100) as one of the reasons to own a pulsar it's so damn good... midi for it is a must! i don't remember if p100 had midi control but it's essential... without midi it's just static, standing still. and all fun is gently twisting parameters...and now it's only via mo...

and there are even more revisions, right?
most people are concerned just about oldest (rev. 1.0?) being not able to reach good latencies and high reverb count, but what else has been changed during revisions?..

as pci slots are not infinite i'd rather put a 15 dsp card in there. offers welcome.
