Re: Mac advantages?
I'm a purely PC user at home and only Mac at work (graphic design/video). Personally I have never found any major preference for one or the other in terms of usability or stability. I've always built my own pc's and have generally had nice and stable systems although it's true that to get it all up ...

Re: which is ?
you mean midi controller?
Any standard controller should work. Whichever one is the "best" completely depends on what you want to do with it.

I might make the switch to SSD for OS/Apps when Windows 7 is released and I'll have to reinstall my system anyway...
It's a shame the prices seem to have stabilised for the moment after they were continiously falling for the past couple of months.

Re: Excutives Will Suffer Under Obama
There is talk of Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin running for president. What idiots! I'm looking forward to the next elections and socialism! don't be too eager. Historically speaking, I'd say that capitalism has a slightly better track record than socialism. Of course capitalism can be abused/misused ...

Re: are new SC-reverbs so PCI heavy??
btw on the original Sonic Timeworks version of the plate reverb there was a "light PCI" version too but I guess the Soniccore version is just the full plate algorythm.

Re: are new SC-reverbs so PCI heavy??
Well those reverbs have always been notoriously PCI hungry. I'm lucky if I can even load one of them in a project without getting PCI overflow messages, but then one of my cards is an old Pulsar I so that might have something to do with it.

First link looked useful to give to people who seem to ask me the same questions over & over (in real life, not on this forum) so I thought perhaps others might appreciate being able to share it with their 'support network' as well. And that image posted second reminds me of a flowchart that wa...

Re: Happy Birthday U.S.A.
This sounds close to the system we have here in Holland although yours sounds a lot more expensive. Over here, there's a mandatory base insurance as well that will cost you between 80 and 100 Euro's a month, depending on which insurance company you are with. You have the option to switch to a differ...
