Re: Patchbays

I think, like many 3rd-party mixing devices and their buses/sends, these patchbays have, under the hood, all connections connected all the time . That makes these devices way more inefficient compared to stock CW/SC devices, which seem to dynamically make the connection as selected by the user. Wha...

Re: Win 7 slow scope startup

http://www.cwmodular.org/pics3/RestorePointWin7.png Maybe reinstalling Scope drivers wiould help? I mean, its not that important as - once Scope is loaded - everything is working fine. antivirus tried to install an "important" application version update on both the machines at the same ti...

Win 7 slow scope startup

Since lately Scope takes quite some time to load on startup (almost a minute). It's no hardware defect as it doesn't happen on a second partition where Scope loads in 1-2 seconds. I have a strong feeling this could be related to a Win 7 update which I detected in a system restore point, made on Apri...

Re: christmas is coming!

Visualizer - ghost button on the right cheek opens PresetList!?! Ah, you've noticed! Please forgive me. what you think about "CTLR to Midi" converter I don't have Mehdi's devices... ...but I'm sure you cannot convert Sync signals to Async signals without being totally out of sync. (long l...

Re: Reloopah

Instead of Flexor Ramp or a Ramp wave you can also use the Sequencer Clock I've made for xmas 2016.
Just connect clk out to Reloopah ramp in; don't forget to turn SeqClock on (top, right), and to adjust bpm.
By tweaking SeqClock's StartPhase you can even get more variations.

UVI Falcon 2.0

With the (free :o ) update It's even got better. If you want to really dive deep into sound possibilities, this is the Vst to go. And: Dan Worrall made a new video , which is always a joy to watch and hear. Which provides evidence that sales videos don't have to sound sh*tty (compare this to any NI ...

Re: Behringer Motor 61 cheap?

Some years ago I had to buy a new Midicontroller, and was considering the Motor64 too. As I missed DAW rec/mute controls, I ended up on SLmkII. I thought it's Automap feature could be useful, but was wrong, much to time-consuming. Anyway, for 170 bucks the Motor is a steal. Don't know if you already...

Mixer 12-6

New Mixer again. http://www.cwmodular.org/pics/Mixer12-6.png 11stereo. 1mono, 6 Aux Inserts pre and post Eq.. No Aux inserts, you have to connect it manually in Project window. The cool thing here is that I've made Aux devices names appear directly under the Aux gain knobs, which makes the whole thi...

Re: JADZIA

Hi Søren, thanks for this synth device, sounds really good! Interesting to see how you've got these Roland-style envelopes working. Good job! Synth works stable here on PCI 64bit, but with a few glitches: - If Bp is used, polyphony is restricted (maybe somehow dsp-related?) - Wave/MW not working her...

Re: modular rapture (some new modules)

I recently excavated an old Module which I liked a lot but rarely used it because of design shortcomings (where are my glasses :o ): http://www.cwmodular.org/pics/Old_NoteSeq.png Also, I wanted to convert my SeqClock device http://www.cwmodular.org/pics/SeqClk+.png into Modular since long. It's prec...

Re: Would I need Modular IV to build devices with the SDK?

Of course it depends on the complexity of the circuit you want to build but I dare say that developing devices with Sdk isn't rocket science at all. There are templates for Synths, Effects and Insert Fx as well as dozens of modules with ready built panels which you can copy for your own device. What...

Unfortunately Scope crashes when I try to load it in Scope 5.1, so it's really just for Xite people I'm afraid.

Re: CMS-1

looks like you have no Midi connection? The CMS plugin works as an audio plug-in. In Ableton, you can send Midi either by using an External Instrument, as Will described http://forums.scopeusers.com/download/file.php?id=14175 (for 'MIDI to' click the respective Scope Midi input) -or- you can just cr...
