Re: Rather disturbing

yep should be a nice system for the xite dont ever bother to go to i7 as the only difference between i7 and i5 is that the i7 uses hyperthreading per core which is crap for real time audio

Re: breaking off capacitor from IO-board of pulsar 2 and sco

its a bypass cap they are used to keep any spikes of voltages from the regulators as the capacitor sinks it and gives a constant dc no ripple bypass caps are also used as noise prevention when stray hum happens by adding a bypass cap it adds a good path to ground they are not needed in most places b...

Re: Need help with loudness maximising chain

watch your levels going in maximum mix level before mastering should be about -6db this then gives you 5.97db room for the mastering section if you go in to hot then it will limit heavily and you will hear rough compression where things like drums get limited to much the best tools are your ears als...

akai made some great analogs in the past but they did use cem chips it way out of tune they really should of gotten some one who knows what there doing if it has to warm up for it to tune then they have not fitted tempco resistors on the integrator pairs for the vco core which is just stupid as they...

Re: Pulsar I with Asus P5B SE on W7 32bit (Scope 4.5) proble

gary has already told you the 4.5 drivers were written for xp only and 32bit trying them on a newer system is not going to work stop asking the same questions over again and again when you have been told the probable answer if you want it to work with those os then you need to get the 5.1 drivers an...
