LOL  . thanks for the proposition. i've been thinking about it again, and if it sounds ok, that's already better that my current mixtable which has a pretty high level of noise.... It's possible i go for ART Tube MP STudio- but at this price, tubes may not be the best choise and i 'll wait to...

Ah, yes sure, if i could build the things myself.....

I'm pretty sure to go for the JoeMeek, even though i have to wait a bit more and it's not tubbed, but it sounds very good and seems appreciated by many people.

Thanks for everyone who answered my questions. It helped a lot in finding what i'm looking for (now i should test all the stuff). I'm posting direct links to "entry price" Mic Preamps that i found of interest: ART TUBE MP STUDIO : has a vu meter and leveling output http://www.artroch.com/products_de...

Thanks algorythm ! it's exactly the kind of info i was looking for. I've checked the avalon and it is certainly what i would want but well, ... I've read that Tube MP also cuts some high frequencies, more than a device like the LINE-DP1 i've found on http://www.axemusic.com/products/audio/processing...

Question: I would like to have opinion by users about the ART tube MP , and if it deserves the "pr...

Hi Defex, You can do what you want quite easily in DP 3. Under previous DP, the trick was to replace the animation of a knob by a different animation (all your button position) howver, this was limited by the fact that the display would actually behave like a knob, so you cannot press it. So it's be...

yes thre's a vdat module in SP (i haven't used it yet) but it 's the same as soudforge or vst or logic. However, it's true that a "export audio" function would be nice under scope/pulsar, especially if it runs in cunjunction with your audio sequencer. I guess the technical problem would be to achiev...

Export audio available on Scope ? well, i'd like to know where. It's not true at all. What you 're looking for is something that allows you to export or "render" your audio tracks+pulsar effects without running the sequencer ? (like in VST) That would be great(re: xtc mode?) but it 's not in any cw ...

I think Spacef probably wants more control over the final mix for mastering, but I'm sure he can speak for himself. I do the same... put all my recorded Pulsar Synths (not VST) onto seperate audio tracks so I can tweak them a bit more, add EQ blah blah... Yes, exactly, more control for the final mi...

dBMac said : Just connect 'em to their own Asio dest channel (preferably via your mixer bus) and record enable the corresponding inputs in Cubase (multi record enabled) Ha, that's the way i know, I thought you people were talking of another way to do it... <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by...

Atomic and/or Dante : you mean without having to arm **all** the channels : ie, i arm one channel in multi record+seperate by channel, then send everything to a stereo channel, and cubase will automatically seperate and create the necessary number of audio tracks ? is that what you mean ? that's wha...

Hi, Here is another possible explanation where it comes from : May be you are doing the following : - you 1st have MONO channels, you connect stuff to channel 1,2,3 etc - Then you press stereo : what is created is NOT a group made of channel 1 + 2, but a new channel 1 Right channel, which has no con...

First, ** while playing** , select the track you want to record in, then open VST mixer and hit "IN" button near the top of the vu meters, - IN allows to see your incoming signal : if nothing, well check your connection in Pulsar (to the asio-dest). - If something, then audio is coming and something...

yes, i don't know why, it doesn't play when i switch to pulsar windows for ex... this is Only in Multi track recording, no problem when i record a simple stereo track.
I thought that was normal

go = record (and rzecord is a red button). Selct the track you xwant to record in, then play what has to be played. Multitrack recording ? that's not the easiest : check the manual, you have to select a special mode for multi recording and the "seperate by channel" option  Here, "play in the ...

+ you should disable "cycle" when recording audio tracks) and have the "_/- " sign (at the right of the cycle button) enabled, so record stops automatically at the end of your loop (so you get the smallest wav possible).
