I found that the JM (marshall) is way nosier than the other three amps in dynatube... just like good old real marshalls are noisy too

You can also try to insert a noise gate before the amp.

Hi,

Did you check Dynatubes?
I've been playing passing synths through them and it sounds *REALLY* phat  (try passing a TB303 through a Mesa Boogey)

did you try using a software midi router, like HLD? (check for my post on the "tips and tricks " section about using midi controllers with scope). It should work the same way.

I can also help you "online" if you're on msn messenger.

Hi all,

I see I'm not the only SDK Manual Forum registered user still waiting for the activation.

So to avoid bombarding Ralph's email box with all the requests, I propose to post here who's in this same situation and then send an email to Ralph with the whole list.

Hi,

I'd definetly suggest you to look for a server-class motherboard with many PCI slots (I've sawn some with more than 6).
IMHO it will be far mor stable and performant.

Good luck!

Hi,

If you want to build a monster, you should seriously take a look at the brand new Ecore 2 Duo Extreme chip from Intel.

I've been a fan of AMD since the K6-2... but this baby complete outclasses the latest 64-bit chips from AMD.

Cheers!

Hi,

I posted a tip for syncing 808 and 909 groovers to the sequencer. It should work for any step sequencer in modular.

Here's the link:

It gives you a profet, a tb303, a tr909 and a sequencer!

Hi,

I use a 256 MB matrox parhelia which can handle up to three screens... Tried it out with three 17" LCDs and it was awesome.. one screen for SCOPE, one for the sequencer, one for the other tools... Really worth it

the trick here is that both, 808 and 909 groovers are built using MIDI Clock Divider C... which doesn't has a Start/Stop control  so to work around this you can do the following: 1) change the MIDI clock divider C for a MIDI clock divider A or a MIDI clock divider B 2) connect the Start/Stop ...
