Re: Free MMDelay

Thanks for the replies. jhulk, yes I had also recently installed Scope SDK for PCI v5.1 just before Peter released MMDelay, so SDK could have somehow messed something up, althouh it is hard to see how as Scope SDK PCI is in a seperate directory to Scope PCI and is not running at the same time. But p...

Re: Free MMDelay

Hi Peter, This is a really nice device, so thanks again. I have it running on Scope XITE v5.1 (32bit) and it works fine, however on my Scope PCI v5.1 (32bit) platform there seems to be a problem, and there is no delay. I have made an identical setup on both Scope XITE and Scope PCI in order to check...

I remembered an old thread about this on the forum so had a search and you can find it here

Hope that has the info you require. I haven't tried this yet myself but must do so soon.

Cheers

Re: revisit "PCI Capacity Limit Reached" error...

I can certainly vouch for the Goldpoint, I have the SA1X, and it is simple but does the job brilliantly, no signal degradation whatsoever. Turning the knob to 0 effectively means no signal is sent through which is what you want when turning the DAW and other gear on and off without having spikes pos...

Re: Which polysynth for a demo?

Zarg Music Quantum Wave is a good choice if you want to name drop in front of an audience as it is an emulation of the Waldorf wave commissioned by Hans Zimmer. :) But unfortunately, like the Solaris, it is not optimised for XITE yet. Prodyssey is a good choice if you don't have much time to demo it...

Just saw this on eBay if that is any use. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EDIROL-Roland-UM-880-8x8-USB-MIDI-Interface-/181317804156?pt=UK_Musical_AudioMIDI_Interfaces&hash=item2a3762207c Using the UM-880 here myself and it works very well. If you need any info about it let me know and I will try and h...

Re: Scope Midi Source fault

Do you have any other keyboard you can try inputting MIDI and see if that does the same thing. Also just in case you want to use a multimeter to try a continuity test and check the cable whip for issues, see the following link for Plus Plate cable whip pinout diagram. http://forums.planetz.com/viewt...

Re: Phase Frequency Shifter

Wow, thanks for that Roland, will be trying this one out when I get back home. I agree with you about how beneficial it would be having a "Demo" GUI where you can still build modular templates while away from the actual Scope hardware, and I can see why that is such a useful feature on the...

Thank you kindly Roland. I will have a look at that in more detail over the next day or so, then hope to try and see if I can convert it over in scope modular. Thanks again.

Phase Frequency Shifter

Saw this vid the other day and was wondering if or how this could be made either as a device or possibly built using various modules in Scope Modular. A really nice sounding effect particularly interesting at around 29 seconds, and again later on in vid. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mqh8jxF89yI&...

Re: Sound Isolated home studio

There is some worthwhile info in the following video course on studio design including sound isolation and how to not disturb the neighbours. In fact on the following web page, video 20 talks about isolation and is free to watch as a sample of the course. He certainly explains things better than I c...

Just saw that Lemur is available for 50% of normal price over Christmas so thought I would mention in case anyone is thinking of getting it. And no....I don't work for them, just a happy user :)

Oh yes, and a Very Merry Christmas to all at Sonic Core and to all fellow Scopers out there. :)
