Writing music while intoxicated David Billen on August 3rd, 2001 Just introducing myself. I am David Billen, (SimSynth guy). I'm going to start putting some nice thought-out eds on this board But for starters, I'd like to just make a simple plea to the music writing world: Don't smoke weed or drop a...

is what I'd really prefer:
has anybody tried to fix the distortions of the old STS under XP by just copying the new one into 3.01?
Thus bugfixing without (much) risk?
(The other way 'round it's possible: PM from former Propack can be copied into SFP.)

Yeah, simple is nice, Dr.Suguro.
Isn't one of the lovely elements of hip-hop, that the drum stops at times - leaving one, two bars room for the Japanese-instrumentalists to come on, then joining again? Just an idea...

Sam, you're a gas!
You need something to triigger the critter!
A keyboard or a sequencer will do.
You have one or the other?

Kick back and relax, Kamurah, yes some of us have this, not all I think. It's a 'known issue'. We hope very much that this will be fixed in the coming update.

Had a look at the site.
I think only the start of programs will be faster. Working in those programs is the same! It's like you have a program in autostart - when you need it, it's already open!

Many thanks, at0mic, that was it.

Thx, Neil for this little tutorial. Drawing the controller data always works for me (Nuendo), but recording them - not yet. I've assigned MIDI Channel 1 to the synth, another MIDI-Track also on Channel 1 for recording the controller data, and then the synth-cutoff-knob assignment to #15: http://www....

Lets get practical: Some contributions may be text only (about acoustics, audio theory, physics of audio...); but some are destined to become tutorials like the one Subhuman posted 'How to make an infected kick' or like the tutorials we know from Photoshop-experts for -users. Means, Step 1., 2.,... ...
