My NEW top 5 1) DSPDEV GoldVerb - smooooooth 2) yes! the WS Design exciter - expands everything 3) z.matrix - an amazing approach to surround sound applications and lots of live possibilities 4) DSPDEV VRS - similar paradigm to the z.matrix, but based more on reverb algorhythms - the binaural effect...

I don't know about you, but I'm TIRED of flatland - no matter how good a mix is these days, I've become a big fan of 3D and surround. This device has a great binaural approach to stereo as well as surround types of mixes.

The only thing I think it needs is a little larger (or adjustable) GUI.

A GREAT and versatile device! Great transparency that adds a lot of space to mixes. A beautiful GUI as well!

It seems to me that I had similar things happen with Acid Pro 3.0. Short loops just click.

Everything loops/plays fine in other apps like Samplitude and Goldwave.

Very interesting.

If I find anything I'll post it.

I'm looking into Sek'd's DVD encoder/surround program. I think you can get it at http://www.ucik.com. Between Samplitude 2496, this encoder, and the Pulsar Surround Mixer, I think you're set to at least be able to ENCODE for surround. I am still awaiting some standards on CD formats for surround aud...

In Samplitude you simply setup the track for recording MIDI just like a normal sequencer. You can also drag and drop in a MIDI track (or separate tracks) from another sequencer. Otherwise the MIDI implementation in Samp. is not up to speed with other more dedicated sequencers. I simply synchronize V...

Thanks!

(I have a TC FIreworx, but not a Finalizer).

I've been seeking a simple overview of mastering.

Thanks again.

I'm going to continue using both the BM and Samplitude's mixer, since I prefer to mix some effects and reverbs outside Samp.

Samplitude 6.0 may change my mind.

However, I'm also finding myself using the new Luna Recording Mixer more and more.

I only caught a glimpse of it before it went offline. Looked awesome and probably would be great for doing theater works with multiple speaker configurations!

Voyetra Digital Orchestrator Pro. Handles all the MIDI and syncs well with Samplitude.

I was a Cubase user for years, but am now addicted to Samplitude.

Other options include Acid and Hotz (no longer being developed)

I loaded the Luna/PowerSampler upgrade with no problems whatsoever. Use the same IRQ (I use inner 3 slots on IRQ 5 on the CUSL2). Also, if you have problems with registered plugins seeing either of the cards, then copy the keys into your scope.rgy file and vice versa for the Luna card. Otherwise, if...

Do what I did. Link the two cards with the STDM cable - thus combining all the DSP! open your Pulsar scope.rgy file and copy the registration keys listed there. Paste these into the PowerSampler/Luna/Elektra scope.rgy file. DO the reverse as well. This allows you to use either environment as well as...

for users who have multiple Creamware cards (i.e. Pulsar and PowerSampler) - to be able to use modules that are registered to either card in the other cards' environment, simply copy the registration lines from the scope.rgy file into the other cards' scope.rgy file. Make backups first. In this exam...
