I know that it works the same and disconnects the user without reason... i don't care about your details. if you cant fix it say it can't get fixed. its ok with me. ...

Re: no sound after dsp assignment ?
delete all unnecesseary modules. assign the z-links modules to a specific dsp untl it works. i.e. the z-link modules should have a dsp that is used by these. find it by changing the assigned dsp. if you get output you found the dsp. assign the channels to this dsp or find the dsp that has the most c...

Re: no sound after dsp assignment ?
not all dsps has connections to any other dsp. so if the automatic distribution algo loads something in a dsp that is not connected to the assigned one there is no sound. this can happen after reload because the auto algorithm is pretty dumb to test it use a minimal amount of devices and assign to s...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
I think what Gary is talking about are standard techniques. A track should translate well all its elements in mono. The stereo information is generally regarded that carries "effects". (ambience, polishing tonal color etc). This happens for many reasons but mainly because someone likes the...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
it can't be done if each signal is sent to a dedicated channel such as when one is sent to the left and one to the right this is right. if you don't sum there is no sum. But they add physically/ interfere in our ears and in correlation meters... I have to admit for a moment i forgot that a stereo ch...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
the best way to check for phase problem is to record the file and observe in an editor. is it still sample accurate?

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
if the sines do not cancel but get lower in volume the perhaps it is the pan law or something.
if you load saw waves and you check a fft and you observe comb filtering then it is the phase

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
In the sdk it is also possible to assign the dsp for the outer project window so anything that is dropped inside inherits this dsp. of course you can override other devices or packs of devices by assigning a different dsp to these. in the xite i use dsp 10 for asio and the mixer. This allows to rout...

Re: STM Mixer Stereo vs Mono
if you assign a dsp id on the module attributes and save the device it should work. if a device is protected from editing in the sdk though the module attributes shouldn't be accessible. If I remember well in this case perhaps you can fold a device and assign the dsp for the container module. I supp...
