Re: Full review of Adern Mojo

Alfonso, would you please add to here how you build it a Little? For instance, which are the amps and the guitars you used at home? A picture of them all would be great as well as their specification. I would love to know which are the basic parameters you used to get this thick sound up and runnin...

Re: Full review of Adern Mojo

Hello Alfonso Well… I don’t really realize the way things work technically behind Mojo, but it would be great to understand some of it at least. So here a few questions: First, why is it called Mojo and where the name comes from? Second, is Mojo feasible or reproducible in the VST world? I mean, co...

Re: Full review of Adern Mojo

Hey Asto, that’s hot! The bass sound is pretty nice here, as timber, it just lucks some definition, perhaps a compression or something like the Celmo BAM would do, which is very good for giving to it this edge I’m talking about… But beware, perhaps Alfonso comes up with a killing bass amp an...

Re: Speakers

In case we talk about HiFi you might consider just to use your own stereos amp and speakers for a check. Either you burn a cd and feed it into the cd player of your stereo to hear what will be heard by anyone buying your CD, or you have a mp3 player, connect it to your stereo and listen to the 'sou...

Re: your custom boutique guitar amp with Adern's MOJO

Congratulations on the release of Mojo Alfonso! :) I'm going to spend some time with the demo to check it out as soon as I've finished the project I'm working on. I'm don't use or record guitars at the moment, but I'm thinking it could well be an interesting device to apply to synth & drum trac...

Re: Adern Announces Xor and Mojo, Two new plugins for the Scope

I have not downloaded it due to the 96K thing, so I can not commend on the responsiveness. I guess you likely managed to implement the FIR filters without too much latency. My comments on the mp3 files are, that I really like the clean sounds a lot. They have that glassy quality to them, which I th...

Re: Adern Announces Xor and Mojo, Two new plugins for the Scope

Any guess at how long before Mojo supports 96khz? That is my preferred samplerate for projects so i'm curiouse. As Assaf already said, there are some limitations in the current Scope development tools....we could have chosen to make an ordinary sounding device with some good amount of typical digit...

Re: your custom boutique guitar amp with Adern's MOJO

of course a virtual one - what did you expect anyway ? :D as announced here Respect and special thanks to Alfonso for cyber-soldering a non-me-too-don't-wanna-fake-anything device as far as I'm concerned this seems to be the most transparent guitar (amp)processor I've ever sent a pickup through. Wo...

Does anyone know if the SC patch for ASIO with Cubase 4.1 is also needed for Cubase 5?

The effect reminds me of a possible audio loop, somehow the output is routed to the input and on...are you sure that you aren't sending the monitored sound back to the mixer sum?

Re: Orbitone Vorb...

I don't have it nor I know how the install should work, but are you sure that there isn't another folder somewhere in a C:\Scope or C:\SFP directory just created using the typical names of the older versions of the Scope software? I say so because I sort of remember an old version of Cubase that kep...

Re: Cubase 5 Upgrade Now Shipping

I have been using Cubase 5. So far it is somewhat disappointing. I will have more to say when I test it further. Looking forward to it. I have SX3 now and I thought the upgrade could be convenient....I'm mostly interested in not loosing any functionality I have now and that all the new stuff work a...

Re: the truth

All i point out that empiricism and science is NOT the answer to full access. This is what I said before and what I see given here. I fully agree on this Being capable of saying somehow a thought or memory is located somewhere in the brains is pretty much the same like stating earth is 6000 or 5 bi...

i dont believe. Science or a bit wider empiricism does not cover your whole lie and your decisions :) What about sorrow, love, what about music you like and people you make friends or not. These are non scientific areas. Not even the biochemical basics are understood leave alone the concepts of a t...

Re: the truth

More Greek I'd say...i was born in Naples (Napoli) which was born in ancient times as a Greek colony in Italy, and I was there for all my studies and also the beginning of my musical career, until the age of 28. I'm also half Greek, from my mother and learned the language along with Italian, from th...
