Re: Scope 7 Bug List

Do you have "allow windows to turn off this device" set in power options in device manager. Does Windows 10 have that setting?

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

I'm just using a refurb HP-XW4600 quad core 2.8 with 16GB of RAM. Win 7 Pro. VoiceMeeter, Process Lasso. No special video, a cheap NVIDIA with 1 DVI, HDMI and VGA. 2 Hybrid 1TB drives and a 27 inch HD widescreen. 3 PCI: Pro, Pulsar, Luna. Two STDM cables. Scope 5.1. Too broke to go for the 7 special...

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

Oh well. Sounds like EW ASIO buffer adjustment or VB not configured correctly. Don't use EW standalone but Sampletank and Kontakt and Halion with no problem. Even wIth just Scope, no VB. With VB I can use them all at once with Scope.

Re: Scope 7 Bug List

Google and install VoiceMeeter (Donationware).

I have a hunch that may solve your problem. You'll select VM as the ASIO driver in EastWest. Leave Scope alone.

Start Scope.
Start VB.
Tell VB to use Scope ASIO channels.
Start EW.
Choose VB driver.
Profit.

Can't hurt.

Re: The end of an era

If it wasn't for Cakewalk I probably would never bought Scope. In 2003 Cakewalk demoed Project 5 at Sam Ash in NYC. Project 5 was a nice modular pattern based MIDI sequencer and audio editor, player that you could quickly build up songs with. It was kind of like the old DOS Texture with a nice Windo...

Re: The end of an era

I got an excuse. Was playing "Walkin' The Dog", dog jumped into "Autumn Leaves", I started trading floors. Hit the jump section hard. Now the dog walks me, he pulls me around in the wheelchair. Dog hunts so the tempo changes a lot. Takes his solo. The pick-up and turn-around is a...

Re: synch Midi record and playback ?

No offense mate. Methinks it's time to move to better sequencer. Save your stuff as midi files and import into any number of good products out there. You may have to gently quantize tweak each track to a click track in your new Cubase, Sonar, ProTools or whatever and even slip and slide and nudge th...

Like mine are gonna be 15 and with TLC they work and look unused. :D.

Re: The end of an era

Been using Cakewalk since it was Twelve Tone Music right up to Platinum. As long as it stays authorizeable I'm good. I'll keep it on my Windows 7 & 8 boxes so 10 can't blindside me. Has always lived happily with Scope. Gibson is the one that is screwed, and its their own management's fault. Okay...
