what I'm wondering about is whether or not it uses the same sharcs, or even a PulsarII (given the price this is all I can imagine they'd put in). Will there be any plug-in key transfer capability, or the ability to slap in one of our own cards?

Or has this all been covered elsewhere?

Uhh, happy to write patches, but a quick clarification... does 'mixed' refer to whatever I come up with?

I say we start with either Prisma or Saturn as they're available to almost everyone (Saturn is anyway) and have tremendous diversity and depth.

Dunno. ...Not to poopoo the synth, but those demo tracks were reminiscant of Keith Courage: In Alpha Zone (I'm curious to see how many know what I'm talking about). Hopefully, the presets are crap and the synth is capable of a lot more. I realize it's incredibly difficult to model plucked and bowed ...

Another thing to keep in mind (don't you just need more things to think about? is that when you sit down in "MusicShopBFE" and start diddling through the presets that what you hear is on par very very far from the overall capacity of the synth. I think the Virus C (though I'm sure ...

I just got through discussing with a friendly Creamware Sales advisor about the possibility of using a Plus spider cable (i.e. the cables spewing forth from the IO plate) with a Z-Link IO plate (as opposed to the classic spider). He said that it wasn't possible to just mix & match as the IO plat...

Okay, I'm a big dumbass. I was playing with the VoxDrum and NOT the plasma, I just couldn't see far enough out of my own ass to read the name of the synth. The VM board has only 3 PCI slots. IT's a micro-ATX board. I'm pretty sure it also lacks the onboard sound, but I'm not sure. If you were building a system with only 3 Creamware boards & nothing else, it might work out for you, providing you've found a VM board with Ethernet, on-board audio, and...

One thing you have to remember (especially if you surf the Yahoo Groups... but it happens here too!) is that lots of people get the Pulsar without thinking too much about how they want to use it and then bitch bitch bitch when they can't figure something out. The Pulsar's a fairly demanding card, th...

I don't think it has to do with WinXP or your cards. I'm running an identical setup and have no such problems. My first thought would be that maybe the audio drivers aren't setup properly in Cubase. Also have you played with the priority settings for either Cubase or Pulsar(i.e. have you gone to the...

They do... it's called a SCOPE Board(or PowerPulsar, or ScopeSRB)
for this they should make a dedicatred board with onboard ram (pcm memory)

I have a similar question whose answer I've not found yet after scouring the forums, but this is the closest topic, so here it goes: I was talking to Paul Tanti yesterday, and I asked him about how one could get a digital input signal at the same time as a digital output. (I want to have the optical...
