House/techno isn't usually my cup of tea, but i rather liked that...it's got a nice, relaxed vibe to it :)

Good stuff! I think the 'mix of styles' as you put it is spot on.

BTW, which variant of Dynatube were you using for the sound? I'm impressed; it sounds very warm and natural.

Very interesting use of cross-rhythms there (I just made that term up! :-))

I'd definitely get down and boogey if'n this came on at a club! I'm at work at the mo', so I might get some funny looks if I 'got down'... :D

Now I'm feeling slightly perverted :-)

I do like a slice of bread with nothing but a little rice wine vinegar sprinkled on it.

It can happen sometimes! :-) In the two MOBO upgrades which I've performed during the last thousand years, going from a VIA chipset to an Intel one required a complete fresh install, but intel chipset-to-more-modern-intel chipset just required windows to install the updated MOBO drivers and all was ...

As Gary points out, if this checkbox is ticked, then there is NO ASIO driver when the Scope window has focus (as Cubase is in the background) so you will hear nothing. However, it can be a useful tool if you want to swich Scope projects (for example, between a 'mixing' and 'mastering' set-up) withou...

It's a lovely piece Chris but I couldn't get on with the reverb used at all, especially on the "plucked string" sound.

It'd be right at home in a Studio Ghibli animation production though, very professional indeed.

Does this mean, "the sad wine"? I'm such a linguist :P

I thought the piece was really quite beautiful, but the voice is perhaps a little too loud in the mix...a little too 'up front' too perhaps but it does give it an intimate feeling.

I felt that the pad could use a little more brightness, but it's very nice and atmospheric :-)

As for the 6 String...well I've never liked any synth emulations of a guitar. To my ears they never sound anything like the real thing. I think that a slightly 'less shy' sound might work better.

As you're looking for feedback ... I'm sure that the rhythm / time signature is supposed to be like that but I couldn't listen to more than a few bars because of this. It doesn't "make any sense" to me. It almost sounds as though the music is stuttering rather than being smooth, as if I've...
