Oops.
If you have a card seating problem, I believe you'd be having random crashes/restarts, freezing, possibly this blue-screen stop message:
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Not the blue-screen stop message,
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

I have a used Pulsar II, probably crop of '01. I can't use it in one of the pci slots because the bottom edge of the I/O plate hits against the top of the next PCI slot. My board is a common one, an ASUS A7N8X. Anybody else have this problem? It makes me wonder if some of these blue-screens we're ge...

Hi, I had trouble with freezing too. I think Sean_Middleton meant to write, "choose Standard PC" instead of choose Standard ACPI. Maybe my post to Jngaelin that I just made, will help. Same forum. virtualstudio also had a freezing problem. I had that problem with my Korg Oasys until I disa...

Microsoft has some info on the blue-screen "stop messages", such as Stop 0x0000000A or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I was getting that one. It's under "Common Stop Messages". When I fixed it, I did everything else, too. Re-seated my cards and STM cable, re-seated my memory and video c...

Howdee, My Scope 4 installation was holing steady until today. I have a PowerPulsar and a Pulsar II STM'd together. This morning, I fired up my computer, got some messages about overload, optimize and retry, etc. Then I got the popup that asks you for your software keys. I downloaded a new allkeys f...

I forgot, in my previous post, there's more I did that contributed to Scope-computer success. Before I did all this, I had not only the freezing up, but some random restarts and blue screens with the microsoft "STOP" messages, with the long hex number. Microsoft has some posts explaining t...

The Red Dwarf is a good machine! RD modules are great!

It's easy to plug a wav file into an oscillator slot, or to run an external synth into the ext inputs. I got some fresh sounds out of it right away, using NO BRAINS AT ALL!

This is what we want.

Hi, I had the freezing up problem too, and fixed it. Unfortunately, I "fixed" more than one thing at a time. Regarding midi, there's this line in the version 4 install file, "Readme - Important Notes" that refers to the Scope card settings in the Windows Device Manager: - In Wind...

Hello,
I've just put my zlink Power Pulsar on ebay. One of my other auctions has an ADAT i/o plate for pulsar or scope, has 3xADAT io's plus 2 sets of midi.

I like that stuff, still have creamware cards but different i/o now. Feel free to ask any questions about it.

Thanks,
Pete
