Re: Creamware (sonic core) Scope
As far as poly count...the stick figure, angry white boy, old school, industrial machine music I do....most poly settings are set to 1-4 voices. Yeah, unison x8 on a Solaris, prodessy, minimax, and especially Modular I, II, III, might present a problem, as well as what you mentioned (synths w/ FX) d...

Re: Creamware (sonic core) Scope
I tend to agree. With the escalation in PC power, dual, quad, or 8 core CPUs, large amounts of RAM (hopefully a 64 bit driver, shortly after release of 5.0), Bus Speed (1066, 1333, 1666), PCIe, vs PCI & card slots, the consumption rate of the DSPs by synths or effects I think, can me minimised, ...

Re: Looking for hardcore Industrial colaborators
I know...this is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I finally now have the space, the means, the gear, and just enough free time from my day gig, to do something that just runs in my veins. The local guys here...they mean well...talent suffers...not that I'm the great songwriter by any means.....

Re: Worth The Wait
My new MB is Intel DP45SG - I'll be doin a 1066 FSB, but RAID 5 (5) 1 TB SATA HDs and 1 250 GB for OS & software
This however, will reserve me the option of running a 32 bit OS or a 64 bit OS when I decide to upgrade...
Best wishes...

Re: Worth The Wait
Sure...but you would need a 64 bit OS to see all 12 gb...S|C, from what Ralph has told me in a rescent email...they are working on a 64 bit driver for XCITE & Scope...till then, I guess we're stuck w/ 32 bit os's... Jimmy V, you would think that would be something pretty high on their agenda.......

Re: Info about the release of SCOPE XITE-1 and SCOPE 5
It's men like you guys, that blow my mind. After watching the videos for the new Solaris synth...I got lost after the 4th or 5th video out of 12 I think. I get effects, oscillators, filters, but modulation matrix and modular synths...I turn into just a preset dweeb. I've spent a long time as a music...

Re: Info about the release of SCOPE XITE-1 and SCOPE 5
I currently have (2) Behringer MX9000 24x8 consoles for this, so it is 48x16. The 16 bus outs, I routre to the 16 ins of my (2) ADA8000's. If I just had 48 ins, I could just trash my analog mixers...
