I'm waitng for Sonar 13 b4 I buy into that marketing hype. Or maybe Nuendo 12.42. All of this audio stuff is addicting I must admit, but I will just practice more classical piano and master my SFP DAW's as we only need to record our music. These apps shouldn't rule our lifes. I actually liked Rocky ...

Yeah this is just weird shit. It has been 20 minutes since I started the DAW. It shows the STM1632 w/ no outputs. I chose all Creamware stuff just in case SpaceF's stuff, or Adern's stuff might be unrecognised by Type I cards, and it actually will load their stuff better. Go figure. Well since the D...

I am experimenting as we speak. At the same time I am hunting 4 2 SRB Type II 15 DSP boards, as they will be needed in my Synth DAW. The 2 Type I cards will be split up for submixing, and FOH / Monitor DAWs to be built in October. _________________ Jimmy V. <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by...

This synth layers with Solaris like a blanket in wintertime, such beautiful sounds evolving over FAT BASTARDS. Really beautiful stuff.

Even adding the PEQ4 filter in the RD slots gives me a thrill. Tried the ModComb, SynthFX, ModEQ. and Vocalizer. WOW!!!! Made a nice vocal pad using the JD800 wavs. then added SpaceF's magic and voila!!! My choices are endless. Just another example of what our platform offers. There is no competitio...

I recently purchased a Scope Pro Type II card that came with Prodyssey and can say the DSP programmers nailed it, and added to the 2 voice polyphony that was on the original. I use to use it as a layering with the ARP String Ensemble, and FAT mono swells in the low end. This dog can hunt.

I have always looked 4 something unique with synth performances, like jumping from my CS-80 to my Oberheims ( pad switching ) just to add different sounds. This is so nice in SFP. Go to OBX-c, to Solaris Modular, to Prodyssey, to ProOne all by switching MIDI channels on my controller. Prodysseys Gre...

I have worked on an awesome large project with my new DAW 4 SFP and I saved it, however when I took my 8th hour break I went to reload it and voila, the window I never saw said not enough audio channels available? Needless to say, I have taken precautions by saving my work as I went along, presets, ...

Creamware obviously knows your contributions and develops stuff that doesn't compete, all in all between John Bowen, Adern, Creamware, and you, I have the most awesome rig I ever heard of 4 synths!! I am just making patches and patches and layers w/ FX, it is hard to describe the pleasure I'm having...

Well since I didn't have a fan. I settled 4 my MIDI controlled fog machine. It has a fan which kicks out the banks of fog slowly. It might not work but my SFP rack sure looks cool. My fiancee thinks I'm nuts, and doesn't like the smell of it, but I use to follow the mosquito fog trucks on my bike wh...

I bet you are right Mehdi, I have never seen such activity before. The new CPU / Mobo is extremely quiet and cool. But I bet those 45 DSP's are being punished by me on my giant synth DAW. I shall try this and see how the air flow effects everything. BTW your devices are incredibly addicting. HTW did...

I have had 45 DSP's to play with 4 a week now, and of course I have been loading them up all the way. The Global Optimisation window is 4 sure a major drag on my enthusiastim, but a nescessity. But I have turned my synths into random note misses, and the DSP meter is only at 60%!! This comes after 7...

I have added this developers stuff 4 one week now and have come to the conclusion that he is sick. This stuff is so deep. I have been using his incredible Sat Mixer, and it really gets fat through the Barbetta's. Solaris has it's own FX shell which I use to load up and tweak. Now I use SpaceF's Synt...

Thanks Stardust,

Go with 15 DSP's. You eventually will become more addicted, take it from a DSP junkie.

In the recording studio, I would go for Rosettas, A16's, or Prisms if possible. But in live venues, the ADA8000 is my choice as it is barely noticable in terms of fidelity coming from FOH / Monitor, and at their current price you can have a spare/redundant unit in reserve. Their PSU is the only sour...

He should have been publicly beaten, and flogged. If someone gets too drunk at one of my gigs, I will usually zap 'em with 25,000 volt stungun. Of course a few well placed Mui Thai roundkicks usually works, and tends to get the attention of any other assholes who can't seem to have fun w/o being ann...
