Re: Please help me get my Supermicro x10sla-f to work
I am using an E3-1220 v3 CPU. I have not hooked up with the Supermicro support yet. Here is, what I did with the BIOS guide, you posted: Intel EIST .......... disabled Intel C State .......... disabled C1E Support .......... disabled Overspeed Protection .......... not found Hyperthreading ............

Does anyone have a solution to the Preset file error with MV
Doing Masterverb tests I get these preset file errors. Do you know a solution for these? Do I need to enter a custom installation path for Scope?

Please help me get my Supermicro x10sla-f to work
So far, I get the PCI Master Overflow error when I try to load the first Masterverb in an empty 44.1 kHz project. This is with a brand new installation of Win 8.0 (build 9200). I have tried doing the heavy downloads to 8.1, but this does not solve the problem. So now I am back to the fresh install. ...

I don't think it is really easy to make real white noise. Maybe I am wrong. If your monitors go low enough you will hear lots of sub bass "blobs" from the Scope white noise generator. Have you tried a sweep?

Re: req: automatic audio singal source switcher
If A is the input, that should mute B, you use A as the sidechain input for the limiter which is being fed with audio from B. Set the threshold at -96 and the ratio at inf. That should do it. If this is not enough ... repeat.

Re: req: automatic audio singal source switcher
You can do that with a sidechain limiter and a tiny mixer.

Hubird did not say -0.3 dBFS RMS. Anyway. -0.3 is not 0.7 below maximum. It is 0.3 below maximum.

Re: Master output levels
I think you should make a mix which sounds good to you. Maybe it is at -6. Maybe it is at -10. Don't change your mix decisions based on some stubborn "rule". If it sounds good, it is good. If you put too much mental focus into hitting that "magical" -6 spot, that might very well ...

Did you get an X-ite or are you off the Scope platform again?

12 Volt AC is the right adapter for the A16U. The original A16 took 18 Volt.

Spielraum If you buy this motherboard, I'd love to hear about your experiences with it. Another PlanetZ member bought one. First he was happy about it. Then, after two months or so, he had issues with the PCI boards swapping orders. Since then, we didn't hear more from him here at PlanetZ. So we nev...

You need to change the ULLI settings. I highly recommend the manual. You will save a lot of time, by spending some time with that document

Yes, and that is super. It is, however, important to note that you do not use reverbs in your Scope projects.

You are on a hard mission. To us, you are just an unknown internet person, who has only made posts about selling stuff (and offering people 400 € for Scope Pro cards).
You've got many more potential customers on Ebay anyway.

Re: Motherboard question
Fra77x You have to know though, that the motherboard above has not been through a Masterverb test. I have an Asus p8q77-m. The Q77 chip set is higher ranking in the same line of chip sets as the B75, and it also comes with native PCI support. I bought it because I saw no masterverb tests on 1155 mot...

Re: Two Pulsar IIs in Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 Intel Z87 Socket 1
I have a motherboard with native PCI support, which works extremely bad. Native PCI support does not guarantee good real time PCI performance. This was how it was before 1155, and this is how it still is.

Re: sale asus P8B75V native pci legacy support with intel B7
1155 motherboards are known for not only being bad - but being extremely lousy. Just because your B75 board is less lousy than the Z68 board does not make it good - and nowhere near great. The stuff you load it with is very easy on the PCI traffic. Therefor, you can go high on the DSP bar. You loath...

Re: Haswell1150 industrial motherboards with 4 or more PCI s
I think you put way too much emphasis on the PCI bridge chip vs native PCI support. I purchased a q77 motherboard, and that is now the base of my internet PC. The PCI performance is utter crap. I got the error on masterverb 2, and I've got plenty of experience optimising PCs for Scope. Native PCI-pe...

Re: Intel board , core i3/Xeon E3 , 32GB , 5x pci , DSP opti
Gary, can you tell something about why Supermicro is better? Do they use higher quality components and PCBs? I don't run my PCs super hot, and I am used to long actual product life anyway (as far as I know). I notice that the PCI-E to PCI adapter chip is the same as either MSI og Gigabyte uses. But ...
