A really great mod is the Behringer ADA8200 Black Lion audio. It will do CV/Gate with better sound quality than stock/unmodded and loop your ADAT I/Os.

We need module versions of their stuff. They have had good success with Magneto which appears to be a module of sorts. But even so their pedals have fantastic MIDI Implementation.
