It uses a Texas Instruments XIO2000A chip
TI site shows this has been superceeded with a XIO2001 chip

I tried this on my system too with an oem card with the same chip (£13) with a similar outcome on a Scope 5 installation Also a gigabyte board 2 boards pulsar 1 & 2 Both cards install drivers Pulsar 1 had board communication error but was corrected by reloading dsps Keyfile import sucess Then er...

I added some heatsinks, based upon a picture shown by dawman who at the time stuck heatsinks to the sharcs inside xite. The heatsinks are just smaller than the chip and come with an adheisive backing. Added a small radial fan to the back for added air movement too. Never had problems but I couldn't ...

Early on with v7 on a clean install I got a black screen on startup but it was nothing more than a schoolboy error which was corrected by clicking "view --> routing window" - to show the usual routing screen. :)

what to do for next video...? Personally JV's approach hits some primal instinct; dancing girls, dogs that hunt, loads of dollar bills, plenty of gear shots! Oh and tonnes of vid fx! Or a serene view over a lake; cliff edge stuff.

Enjoyed this current release though, Kron is so neat
