Re: Status?
Some work but with limits on the number of cards and overall bandwidth. Cheaper and easier to get a HP or equivalent with PCI slots … per Ronnie. Gary ? Gary's guru advice and I never looked back! Here's one with XEON chips and two drives, Windows 10. nVidea 8GB. Refurb. $150. Get Anothe 8GB real c...

Re: Status?
I have 3 PCI cards from 2003, They run on a $198 refurb HP desktop. Windows 7 64, Scope 5.1. It is on 24X7X365. Runs rugged, tight and rarely a glitch. I run my DAW on a separate custom laptop with 8.1, Intel i7 @ 3320 GHz, 32 GB RAM and SSDs connected via ADAT. One day I will probably get an XITE w...

NP. I hope it works out. With Voicemeeter, Banana is the best one to use. Potato is really for Podcasters and pretty complex. Banana is pretty straight forward. If you can, and it works out, drop him a small donation. He does this from the heart. Just to have multiple standalone ASIO devices running...

Re: Trouble after installing Scope 5.1 for PCI cards on Windows 10
You might try: Voicemeeter Takes the Scope ASIO and makes it more "friendly" and also allows multi standalone ASIO clients to access Scope ASIO. Run Scope first then Voicemeeter. Then use Voicemeeter ASIO in your client. See instructions. Pretty flexible. Plus, it can record and save WAV f...

Re: Card test program
Sigh. My Pulsar2 died a couple of months ago. I tried everything but no joy. Was able to get one in like new great condition (in the box) from Berny Shoes at a great price as well. I mean it was like losing a family member and have them come back room the dead. All is well. 17 years for everything e...

My favorite button has approaching police sirens in wide stereo that sound like they stop right at the door. Well, it used to be.

Re: Will Scope work on a 4K display?
I have astigmatism which normally doesn't affect me too much but when at the computer the glasses make everything look good. I got graduated lenses to accommodate the upper and lower monitors. Works perfectly.

Re: HP ProBook 4740s Notebook graphic card question
I use a custom laptop from Pro-Star with the Intel HD 4600 chip and an nVidia GTX 770M GPU. Second monitor is a 27" Asus. Third is a 24" Dell. You just select which app you want which GPU to use, or default to either across the board. I turn off all the 3D PhysX stuff and all the anti-isot...

Re: Pianoteq Pops ASIO?
One Drive? Never touch the stuff! I'm on 8.1. Pianoteq only has preset levels of polyphony, 192 is not an option. I'm set at 256. Multicore is fine. Core Parking is disabled. Removed all Wave modules. Also removed unused SP/DIF. Better but not 100%. I increased the ULLI so the Pianoteq buffer is 512...

Re: Pianoteq Pops ASIO?
Sure. MIDI Merger, MIDI Monitors, 2 Optimasters, B-2003, STM-1632, MV Classic, 1 WAV source, 2 WAV outs. 30% across 24 DSPs. I'm thinking MIDI Merger 4>1 or MIDI monitors? Running Process Lasso, machine is tuned perfectly. The only CPU usage is SCOPE and the Pianoteq. Sample Tank has no issues with ...

Re: Mingus & Coltrane
Scope FX/Mixing. It’s all one pass recording in stereo. Too many cracks/pops when I use software. Reason for that is use Kontakt for OrangeTree EPiano, PTEQ and Keyscape LA Clsssic Rhodes. Layering makes software recording mad I think...🤔 dNa FX Rack using Pitch Shifter for random modulations. I ki...

Pianoteq Pops ASIO?
It could be the latest update to Pianoteq but this issue has been bugging me for a while. Every so often there are random pops. I tried various presets in it and no profit. I tried adjusting latency in Scope. No Joy. Tried different MIDI sources, files, and controllers. Nada. It works perfectly on m...

Re: Lack Of Focus
I definitely hear you. I'm basically in total quarantine because I'm in the high-risk category. Since late March, I've been in my home studio a lot. Mostly practicing piano on my Kurzweill via Pianoteq on the Scope box. I dusted off my KORG PA600 just for fun. I had to re-learn everything KORG works...

Re: Wanted: Scope Pro or Pulsar2 PCI
There are like 20 of them of which the two on the edge are bigger. I connected a digital multi meter across the contacts and got a reaction from all but 3. I don't know if that's a good test. None of them were shorted but it seems to me, while very inexperienced in testing capacitors, those might be...
