Only just got around to putting some stuff in my profile, so now I'm openly stiff upper lipped etc.! I have to admit that I got a bit of a bargain with my SRB, which I'm using with a Luna II. I bought it from ttoz, who has recently advertised a load of devices in the Pulsar Purchasing section. It co...

Sorry to those who have read this query before in the STS Talk section, but I thought it was relevant to ask here: Has anyone on this forum used any of Awave's development components for C++ or VB? These look like they'd be really useful for this sort of task. I wanted to write a quick and simple to...

I'm impressed by this one too (I've just reviewed the Dance Project II track). I'd say that the only criticism I have is that maybe the middle section is too interesting. This isn't really a criticism of this tune, it's just unusual for one in this style to have extended variation. You might find th...

While this isn't my favourite style of music either, it is very well made and has a catchy tune (which is essential!) I've been impressed by several of your tunes so far. I have a couple of minor style suggestions (and they really are minor!). The snare drum could benefit from being a little bit thi...

I bought a Pulsar II SRB to add to my Luna hardware. I'm still using Luna software, as there was no software attached to the SRB card. I think that if you buy an XTC, you'll be able to use the DSPs under XTC or Luna software and when v3.1 comes out you should be able to use the full Pulsar software ...

In the Luna II manual, in the section called 'Integrating Luna and Your Recording Software' (pages 16-29), there is a pretty well written description of how to set up Cubase and Luna to work together. I think this is quite a good place to start. I think that there are some posts about using Sonar wi...

They're not the only ones! I've been a Jungle/Drum and Bass fan for a long time now. I've just invested in a Pulsar SRB to go with my Luna II and hope to be uploading some Drum and Bass madness very soon as I get to know my DSPs better! Really impressed by your tune. I'm not mad keen on .mp3 compres...

Being quite a lazy person, with quite simple requirements from my STS, I find that the following tools are virtually essential: Recycle (http://www.propellerheads.se/products/recycle/frame.html), Awave (http://www.fmjsoft.com/awframe.html) and STS Creator (check the Presets and Tools section of this...

Another thought, going slightly off topic! Has anyone on this forum used any of Awave's development components for C++ or VB? These look like they'd be really useful for this sort of task. It's unfortunate that you'd have to come up with something commercially viable to justify the cost, as they are...
