Upgrade from Flexor 1.5?
Hi guys. I have Flexor 1.5 attached to my 15 DSP card. Does anyone know if there is a sale priced upgrade to Flexor 3? I posted this in announcements as I thought it might relate to the recent Christmas promotion. - Scotty

Re: For Sale: Scope Pro Plus, w/ NFR keyfile!
Where are you located (approximately)? Hi all! I'm planning to sell my Scope Pro (14 or 15 DSP; whichever the newer generation was designated as!) card with Plus output board (could probably swap for a Z-link one if people want it). It comes with a press NFR keyfile, that allows access to pretty muc...

Hi Tom it arrived. Thank you for this generous offer. Before I populate it with parts do all 3 pci slots work in this board or should I expect 2 working slots? Many thank - Scott.

Fantastic. I am just curious as to how you wound up with a spare motherboard scope friendly motherboard. Are you getting out of the Scope platform?

Thanks Tom. Money sent and a top-up as well. I am pretty sure it was you I bought the SCope card from. I have been on the forum since 2006 under a different name (lost my password and had to create a new log-in) and probably saw the post on this forum. Excellent, I wasn't sure that anyone would be i...

Fantastic. I am in Port Hope and my older Athlon Board is starting to misbehave and my retired q6600 machine has poor PCI performance. I was hoping to rebuild a box for my cards. If you send me your paypal address I will happily pay shipping for the Board! My address is Scott Harris 23 Baldwin Stree...

Re: Sync Pllate Setting Up ETC
Thank you Gary. Yes I have the cable and it is attached to the Pulsar II. It is a ribbon connector attached to the card. It must be fried as scope doesn't see it. I will try it with the other cards ( I have an old 15 chip first gen board and a pulsar I in there as well). I wonder if I need to instal...

Re: 4x Scope 15 DSP
In terms of ull performance, mixing gen 1 and gen 2 in the same box will give both cards the ull speed options of the gen 2. Adding a Gen 1 card won't hurt in this regard. Where you introduce issues is with pci bandwidth which shows up in the verbs and larger modulars not wanting to load even though...

Re: PCI overload issues on Asus P5B-E - Q6600
Thanks jhulk for your input. I made sure that the Pulsar II was the main card running 5.1 as you described. Gary confirms that the PCI behaviour is consistent with the first generation card (Scope 15) that I am running. It gets touchy with Modular 4 patches using the waldorf wavetable modules and wi...

Re: PCI overload issues on Asus P5B-E - Q6600
Thanks Gary, I am glad the card is running optimally. I am amazed that we can still run these old cards with current drivers and OSs if we so choose. IS there any resale value in the first gen 15 sharc boards? I also have 3 first gen pulsar Is that are working fine and not serving any purpose for me...

Thus all the available BIOS tweaks were donr and the performance and power scheme tweaks were run. My routing is very basic. I have midi in , ADAT source and d...
