Re: Compressor S not retaining Side Chain Connections

Thanks Jimmy,
I only found this by accident as it was the first compressor I grabbed to look see what ducking would do for me in the mix
I might pass onto Soniccore just in case no-one else has registered it as a bug

Re: Xite-1 on its way - couple of questions

Thanks Greg
I won't be able to run both at the same time because I have traded in my SCOPE Pro and Pulsar 2 cards to get the XITE.
I have retained a LUNA card in second machine but that is sort of off line from where I want to do modt of my work.
and yes I expect to have fun :D

Compressor S not retaining Side Chain Connections

Hi There,
Not sure if this is a bug or not in Scope 5?
I used a Compressor S in an Insert in the 2448 Mixer to duck some keys under a vocal.
All worked fine, but after saving and reopening the project the SC connections were no longer there.
Anyone had this issue?
regards

Xite-1 on its way - couple of questions

Hi There, I am awaiting delivery of my Xite-1. Its a long way from Germany to the land of Oz. I hope customs don't have a field day! In meantime:- I have an old 16bit ADAT that I always intended to sync to SCOPE (via a Sync Plate). With Xite have we lost our ability to sync to external Adats? Is the...

Re: How many XITE-1's out there?

Hi there,
I have heard from Holger today and he indicated that they had had a system failure that set them back a bit.
He said my XITE-1 could be dispatched this week, so it looks like there are stocks available.

Re: Scope version of SHEPPI

Got my fingers crossed Neut will come up with the goods
SHEPPI fills out the holes in a mix and provides greater width and depth - how good would that be in SCOPE?

Re: How many XITE-1's out there?

Ordered mine direct from Sonic Core back in early dec 09. I am still awaiting confirmation that payment has been made and dispatch has occurred. Sent a number of emails but no replies this year so far. Waiting for delivery is not an issue, but the lack of communication is. Anyone else still waiting?...

Dynatube wont work in PCI 5.0.2615

Hi there, Hopefully someone can tell me what DSP file is the 'Softube Twin BF Poweramp 44.1khz'? I found my Dynatube was not working in 5.0.2615, I checked here at 'Z and noted I needed to bring some mdl files across (17 of them) I found them in my old 4.5 Application directory and copied them to Sc...

Scope version of SHEPPI

Hi There, Anyone like to have a go at building a Sheppi for Scope? This is based on Bob Katz/Algorithmix K-Stereo Ambience Processor. Download the VSTi version its free and its really neat. http://dallashodgson.info/articles/OpenAmbienceProject/. The website talks a little about the components that ...

Re: Problems connecting on a new wide screen

Astroman was right. I backed off the colour depth on the new monitor and all's fine.
Thanks for the great help.
The new monitor gives such good real estate I might upgrade my other one for apps like Cubase/Samplitude etc.

Re: Problems connecting on a new wide screen

Thanks Guys, Astroman, I think you're on the right track the colour depth is different for each screen. Basically what has happened is as you describe the target point is displaced. Clicking where I have crosshairs does not work but just off to one side does. I will play with the colour depth a see ...

Problems connecting on a new wide screen

Guys, I just purchased a 23" Acer X233BH monitor. As soon as I installed it and set the resolution to 1600 by 1024 I found that connecting devices (eg ASIO to Mixer) became difficult. The cursor changes to cross hairs and I click, I then go to the destination and get cross hairs and click, but ...

Thanks Jan,
You have described exactly what is happening and also the solution - use it in the project window not in an insert.
Thanks Guys

Re: Potential LIMFAT Bug in 5.0

Hi Medhi,
Thanks for the Test Limfat, unfortunately it demostrates the same symptons, works fine until you save, close and then reopen - no sound.
I trust you will be on the case in due time.
Thanks for the consideration

Re: Potential LIMFAT Bug in 5.0

Thanks Spacef, No biggie. I am sure you will look at it in time if it turns out to be a bug (of course it might not be one). I tend to put LIMFAT in the master bus (if needed) as final tweak before rendering to stereo. So it is usually dealt with in the one session and in that sense LIMFAT has never...
