Re: Which is your best choice for a WOODWINDS Library?

I just recently bought Spitfire's Evo Grid 4 which is woodwinds, but not as we know them. Great for modern sonics but not really for standard score writing I admit. I think it's amazing and I'm not even a woodwinds fan (or woodwings or woodings either) :D

I still don't get it. Who or what is Wooding? Sounds a bit rude to me.

To be honest, life's too short now and I don't have time for 'exploring' hidden depths. If I can't get something working how I want it in five minutes it will probably never get used again.

Re: Python Pro 1.02 on Scope 7 - Does anyone have this device working ok?

Also, while checking out a few forums for more info on the John Bowen Solaris keyboard which I am seriously considering, I have also been completely sidetracked by another gem of a synth recently, a VSTi called Tranzistow and its little brother Diodow. These are incredible sounding synths, but espe...

I'd be interested in this synth too - forgot all about it.

Re: Piano: THIS IS IT!

No matter how many libraries I try (haven't tried modelling a la Pianoteq yet) I always search for more. I am happy with many of the libraries, but they all have a different character.

At the moment I really like the purity of NI's Una Corda, and really want to get Spitfire's Felt Piano.

Re: Piano: THIS IS IT!

I shy away from Kontakt because the quality just doesn't seem to be as good as in some of the other software I have. I think maybe Kontakt is designed to use less CPU power. For drums i never use Kontakt. I don't know if it actually sounds 'weaker' or whether it's some placebo, but I prefer to use ...

Actually I just picked up their Resonance - Emotional Mallets Kontakt library for $20 over at audio plugin deals. 2.6GB of bowed, hit, scraped metal stuff for fifteen quid is a sore dick deal.

If you go Cubase then Cubase Pro 9.5 works well and is the best Cubase version in a while.

I remember that ! But it was long time ago. BIOS and Scope have been updated, since.
Yes, but has anyone actually tried an X99 since then? Would be good to hear someone's experience - maybe I missed a thread on it.
