depending on how deep your mixes are you might want to go out via sp/dif to a dat recorder with your mixes(to save resources).there is a nice cut down version of samplitude in magix music studio2004,which is an excellent mastering/burning tool.($79)

there's an install,but it's pretty simple.(enter keys,etc.)every pci slot gets its own irq.the srb and xtc card are the same card.it's usually not hard to get a cable.htey're a few bucks but i have seen them given away b4.also you could make your own with the parts available in any good electronics ...

the gam is the preamp in this instance.if you used a preamp in front of the cw card input,your good sound would be better.that di outputs mic level.

yeah,but synths are not the onlyuse for dsps.lots of processing capabilities exist.also,if you HAD synths,you might find them interesting for extra textures and layers.(just a bonus for just-in-case you are dealing with an artist who could use them...) you know there are plugins like vinco or psyq o...

bingo.or you could put the p1 and p2 in one machine and the other p2 in the other.that would be the easiest to have all features in both machines........

no,a d/i will not usually have a preamp in it....(yes,it outputs mic level.to get line level out of it,line level must go into it...)
