wouterz, I wondering which method are you using for the dual boot procedure? Any hints about? I just planned to reinstall everything on my travel Laptop and this dual OS solution sounds good to me... Thanks in advance :) If I'm not mistaken you can use the original bootable Windows (non OEM) instal...

I use two dual boot systems, one is running without problems for 10 years now. On both systems I have a Windows install for music production (no Internet connection, firewalls, virusscanners or updates) and one for everything else (with all the security stuff). In the screenshot you see two devices called M-Plate MADI 64 Source and M-Plate MADI 64 Dest. I wonder if they work in Scope 5.

In Windows 8 you can press the Win++ keys (the Windows button and the plus button) to zoom in.

I purchased a Sonifex Redbox RB-BL2 which has plenty of gain. Problem solved

Connecting unbalanced line level (-10 dBV) signals
I tried to connect unbalanced line level (-10 dBV) signals to the analogue XLR connections on the back of the XITE-1 using a converter cable XLR to unbalanced jack. But the level difference is to high. Would a +4 to -10 converter box help? I found this one:

I don't how it could be possible to add madi to an Xite as it is build now. But there is certainly much better technician here to say if it is possible. As Dante said, you can easily run PCI card & an Xite-1 on the same computer in order to have plenty i/o. Now you've got an Xite, keep your PCI...
