I am on W2k. I managed to make a setup that works by activating more software modules (2 MIDI Dest, I think) Now I can route midi signals from Cubase SX to either my ESI 4000 or to my EOS 6400 by choosing Luna Out or Pulsar Out! This opens for endless possibilities! Thanks for all advices! Regards Neb

I have included in my project Pulsar MIDI source and Luna MIDI source which go via MIDI merge to sequencer dest. I have Sequencer Source connected directly to Luna MIDI dest and Pulsar MIDI dest. (Which go to two separate HW samplers) Still, in Cubase SX, I can only select Creamware Out 1 or Creamwa...

Does anybody know how I can access Midi Out on Luna and Pulsar at the same time from within Cubase? I can only access Luna Out 1 and Luna Out 2. I have activated Pulsar MIDI dest in my project. I know that the card works as I use Pulsar IN and Out for through put of midi signals in other projetts. I...

The shop needed an overhaul anyway. The sound examples of the devices were no longer available.

It's probably caused by setting the polyphony to 1 and playing legato.

I just bought the Power Leap upgrade adaptor with a 1.4 ghz Celeron Tualatin for my Apollo Pro mainboard. Wow! It is a completely new machine. My contribution to the tech talk would be to recommend the Power Leap upgrade adaptor to those who both wants a faster system while saving for more CW equipm...

No doubt, it is the ARP Odyssey reborn. Especially the fx part of the demo "single sounds 2" is convincing. It sounds exactly like what Jon Lord of Deep Purple used to do on stage. Very impressive indeed, great applause to Creamware. On the other hand, the excessive use of delay and reverb...

Hi, You can download the PCI Latency Patch from http://www.georgebreese.com/net/software/ It sure made a great difference to my machine. All the dreaded pci overflows are gone, and i can import uncompressed DV-movie via firewire with no frame losses onto my harddrive. Try it, it might breathe new li...

The vintage VIA Apollo Pro mobo works great. I have installed George Breezes PCI latency patch and I believe I have less PCI overflows (in fact none)than many state-of-the art users. I am a hobby user, and since I trust my current setup, I can't be bothered to spend ages puting together a new comput...

Hi, I have a old Apollo Pro mobo with a PIII 500Mhz processor and Pulsar 1 and Luna 2. everything runs flawlessly, but I wish to upgrade the CPU without spending a lot of money. An upgrade adaptor makes it possible to run a PIII Celeron Tualatin at 1.4 ghz. It won't cost much. Does anyone know if th...

Just a guess:

Cound the noise be generated by a feedback slope that you have made in your project? Does the noise occur when using default project or only when you use your own projects?

Just a guess

I have just discovered that when i launch a synthdevice:
MIDI A LUNA --> INFERNO -->MIXER -->Luna Analog Out,
the MIDI signal does not go to the Inferno but to my MIDI DESTINATION! I can tell because of the chorused effect from my synth when striking a key. I have double notes on my synth! W...

I have tried to load the Midi drivers at the patch board. The Luna MIDI A is activated by default on starting the SFP platform. But it does not work anymore. I will be trying different solutions.

One problem has occurred as a result of my inclusion of a Pulsar I board. I have lost my MIDI input, I can no longer record an external midisignal. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything, but without any success. I have right clicked the MIDI source at the patchboard to try to switch from Lun...

True, the improvement is more than doubled, however the the Creamware system does not allow for running several synths at the same time with a lot of polyphony. The amazing Vectron does increase the strain on the DSPs quite significantly by increasing the polyphony from 1 to 8. If you in addition wi...

I obtained a STDM cable at my local dealer for free and added a Pusar 1 card in addition to my Luna 2. The Pulsar 1 was immediately reckognised and driver installation was simple. The only issue was that I installed the old drivers that were bundled with the Pulsar 1 (from 1999). On startup SFP 3.1 ...

I am considering to buy a secondhand Pulsar 1 to add DSP power to my excisting Luna 2 card. Do I have to interconnect the two cards
or do they communicate via the PCI bus? If required, what cable can I use?

I am running the impressive Scope installation of the SFP 3.1 on my little Luna II card. I have been overwhelmed by the amazing sounds of the devices such as the Vectron, Modular and the SB404 Arpeggiator. I obviously need more DSP power to expand the polyphony, and I consider buying a Pulsar I. Wou...
