Any chance to make Xite work with a USB connector? I want to go to a mini pc and i can't find any with express card. A USB connector would be very convinient.
Is there any express card to USB adapter?

Re: DSP assignment
even in 5.0 sdk the textfields do not update reliably to show "not set" or "inherit" but the functionality is activated. duplicating the module restores the text info.

Re: DSP assignment
try -1 and duplicate the module. click on a module, control+d, click on empty space to paste the duplicate. It should work. if it doesn't i don't know any other way. haven't checked on sdk 7. I have 5.0.

Re: Damn - not another Windoze
This is cool. I wonder how difficult is to have Scope compiled for ARM. I think raspherry Pi supports PCIe. This will make a fanless solution that I am looking for.

Re: WANTED A BCR2000-like MRC
There is a c++ sdk perhaps you can try it. You can implement any type of functionality with it. It needs juce to compile I think.

Re: Scope DSP/Xite in the modern market
For me the Xite-1 is perfect. I use the SDK. I also use my old PCI cards in a separate machine (21 dsps) (for lab purposes, analogue, experimenting etc). I never encounter problems with what I use. My Xite-1 works 24/7 without complain. For new users I suppose getting the Xite and the sdk (but use i...

Re: Music producing techniques
It is called equal-loudness contour or Fletcher–Munson curves. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal-loudness_contour Because human hearing is tuned to the middle frequencies where human voice has the most energy, but this changes with loudness. If we amplify the signal we will hear mostly the mids so...

Re: TUTOR VIDEO - Make a synth in Scope SDK in less than an hour
Put the sdk working screen at your main monitor if you use two monitors. Then close the floating panel you want to edit. Then press once the "circuit" button and then again to the "surface" mode. You have to be in the view layer "inside the module" you want to edit its ...

Re: Lilliputing & Micromachines
So if you tweek a parameter it jumps back to 0 after you release the golden knob? I tried watching some videos but they were very boring. I like FM synthesis but anyone who jumps and screams about how marvellous it is (like here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZvDSl4KQhI ) is probably not very stab...

Re: Lilliputing & Micromachines
i read the brochure of the knob and i am not really sure i understood exactly how it behaves. if it acts like a potentiometer then you will need a 14bit adc or a 16 bit one. the adc on arduino uno is 10bit and on the due 12 bit i am not sure about the teency. you can find 16 bit adc for 10e. scaling...

Re: Lilliputing & Micromachines
It seems interesting. The Teency (3.2) has an cortex M4 with DSP opcodes. Now i see a new teency with cortex m7 at 600MHz. It should be very good. wow it costs 20$ it's cheap. I should probably get one. By my opinion an uno at 16MHz or a due with 84MHz processor (cortex M3) can handle the job especi...

Re: Lilliputing & Micromachines
I suppose acquiring computers is not challenging anywhere in the world, paying for the workforce to put them in use is the problem. Anyway. Yes we can discuss about arduino. It don't have raspberry pi because i like to use microcontrollers without an os, and program bare metal in c. I am not any typ...

Re: Lilliputing & Micromachines
I 'm not really sure why you are doing this to youself, but if you care for an advice you should optimize your workspace, and get rid of all this sensory pollutants. This lifestyle is gonna have a tremendous toll on your mental and physical health. Having a lot of stuff is not some way to display yo...
