Just got a Spring sale notice from S|C for XITE-1 (which I already have), and it comes with SCOPE V8 Beta.

I haven't been hanging round here so much so may have missed some discussion of this.

Actually it'll probably be just the RTX 3070 standard, as reading up on it the Ti didn't really seem to add much more than the regular for the extra cost.

So it's been a while. Still using my XITE-1 but my computer needs an update. Trying to see if anyone has any experience with the bits I might be choosing for a custom build. Some may remember the nightmare I had with the X99 motherboard (I think it was), so I'm trying to avoid any known pitfalls. So...

Haven't heard from Michu for ages. We used to have regular e-chats and I even met him in Poland when I went there on holiday and got very drunk on various different vodka drinks. Glad he's still active even if it's not here.

I'm only thinking about this because the latest BFD3 from fxpansion is W8 and W10 only (effectively making it Windows 10 only as I don't know any musos that use W8 - or many people fullstop!)
