Can anyone successfully running ASIO4all with Scope tell me what version? (of ASIO4all)
v2.15 and 2.14 don't seem to work.
Windows 10 and 11 64bit.
This is my last attempt to get Gig Performer running again since I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10.

Re: Scope PCI Sync Plates
So to follow up on this thread. I added a T-adapter with a terminator to my Scope equipment and converters. The 2 PCI computers load up a little more stable now. Haven't had any messages or had to reload.......as of yet. I did find out that my Presonus Digimax FS has a self-terminate button so when ...

Xite Wordclock
As I've posted here before, for some unknown reason the wordclock seems to be working on my Xite when it apparently doesn't on other people's Xite's. About a month ago I started having problems with mine for no reason what-so-ever. So to counter the problem I close Scope and re- run the installer ...

Re: Z-Link cable - question
Great! You're all set now. Time to feel the ultimate power of the Sharc Universe!!!
(then get back to work on that SDK! )
Just kidding of course.
You did some really fine work on that Classic Filter Delay way back when.
Cheers
Dan

Re: Scope PCI Sync Plates
That kind of cable usually is for much higher frequencies than 44.1 to 96khz. It looks like „regular“ wordclock, but is mostly used in modern video context iirc. Digidesign‘s 256x sample rate clock (aka Superclock) is another candidate for high quality cables, but it‘s just overkill in the sub 100kh ...

Re: Scope PCI Sync Plates
Thanks Valis and Gary. I'm going to get those terminators going. Hopefully add some stability.
scary808: I don't think it works that way. You still have to clock your ADAT. Zlink is it's own thing.

Re: Scope PCI Sync Plates
Hmm, I'm just running a straight cable from my master clock into the devices.
I might look into getting some of those T adapters and terminators.

Re: Scope PCI Sync Plates
Ok great thanks for the info. Does Scope equipment and converters need a terminator?
Will there be any noticeable signal loss with a cable length of 15'
What about the $85 WC cable?
Worth it? or Snake Oil?

Re: Scope PCI Sync Plates
Yeah I have run a separate WC to that computer. I was just curious if that was an option since it seemed pretty stable when I was doing that with an ADAT connection. I was also curious to hear of others experience with the sync plates. Generally speaking they work fine but sometimes I have to reload ...

Re: Scope PCI Sync Plates
Thanks gary
My question really is: If I"m clocking a computer from a master clock to Scope PCI sync plate in as slave, then run a WC cable from that sync plate out to another Scope PCI sync plate in as slave. Is that going to be a stable clock or
Is that what you mean by daisy chain?

Re: Scope PCI Sync Plates
Well I'm wondering how Scope PCI works as Master Clock out with a sync plate
or
As a daisy chain slave in and WC out to the other PCI.
Yes "in theory" it should all work fine. But does it?

Re: Windozer 11
Well there's definitely erratic behavior. We've always known that when a software host tries to treat Scope as a Windows soundcard then bad things happen so the reality is that some programs will work with Scope and others just won't esp when the developers aren't willing to budge. It will be nice ...
