Re: BlackBox CWM

a little xmas update, just in time.
-improved clap sound
-sd filter bug removed
-extra preset list just for sound edit (no masterVol, pan, midiNN, output setting)
-output can be set to main, individual, and main+ind.
merry xmas!

Re: BlackBox CWM

generally, the white controls in the main window (tuning, decay etc.) are offsets to the parameter values in the instruments' edit windows. the range of these offset values is not too big, to have a better on-hands-control for quick editing. but this also means that, for example, if your bd has a ve...

Re: Create wavetable

sampleOsc=one shot wave
wavetable=periodic waveform (rather tiny, only few ms)
(of course you can make wavetables into samples by sampling and looping though)

and yes, if someone is able to make a wavetable synth with own wavetables it's sharc.
but Vectron already is quite perfect ...

Re: BlackBox CWM

yes it is cool, thanks! I'm still working on that bloody clap sound, but I'll get that mf. (its not that 10ms delay, its the noise sound.) Jimmy for sure BB & SE-02 will be best buddies. I want one of these too. :P sunmachine: separate preset lists for output, Midi notes, MasterVol - and all the...

Re: Create wavetable

SampleOsc? I think you meant WavetableOSC? In Scope, we have several resources for Wavetable Synthesis: - the Vectron Synth, which is based on the Prophet VS (Seq.Circuits, Dave Smith, John Bowen), - the Wavetable OSC in Modular, and - the Waldorf OSC, also in Modular --Vectron uses (almost) the sam...

Re: christmas is coming!

it's not using nifty async dsp modules but primitive sync ones instead.
if that wouldn't work in xite I think you could throw it away :P

Re: BlackBox CWM

JoPo you've been correct with Midi channel not working for instruments. Please d'l the device again. Other fixes / improvements: -Clap forgot some cfm settings in presets -Main preset now shows up below Master Volume knob -instrument preset lists' location and size is stored in main preset Main/Ind....

Re: BlackBox CWM

thanks for your kind replies! @darkrezin: yeah I admit I've had problems with the clap circuit - but out of other reasons than you may think: flanging/metallic sound, due to phase crosstalk or something :-? I'll investigate further when I've got time. @yaya: good health for you too (and all others a...

Re: More inputs

look for a used Fostex VC-8.
I've got three of them, it's good quality + super reliability.
This one is a bit overpriced; if you get one for 40€ or so, take it, you won't regret it.

Re: Send audio Ramp to Flexor from Renoise

controlling Modular sequencers externally (by sending a Ramp signal from your DAW) works quite perfect. Give the Ramp signal a specified Asio output, connect it to Modular, and you're good to go (but be careful not to connect it to the audio mixer, otherwise you'll ruin your headphones/speakers). De...

Air on tour

..and I'm too late for tickets. In Germany, they go on stage with Kraftwerk, and it's a sellout. :( Btw they are touring between May and August also in France, the US, Australia, Spain and Singapore. As a teaser, check this vid, recorded by Arte in 2016. Personal all-time favourite La Femme d'Argent...

E-Mixers

Springtime - Mixertime! http://www.cwmodular.org/pics/E-Mix+.png Actually it's a pack of three mixers (E-Mix12m, 16m, 16s), and a Master mixer. Select the mixer types you need (mono or stereo, EQ or not), and connect them to the E-Mix Master. Aux, Busses and Mutegroups (if wanted) have to be connect...
