Maybe you're right.
New big valve mixers or modular systems or new synths may be very DSP hungry - who knows?

You're right, Jimmy, sometimes the message "try global optimization" disappears and you can load the project normally. Seems, it needs to load 5 or 10 times to optimize in a certain way that the project is finally spread on the right dsps.
Only a thought. :)

Great song you quote! A few weeks ago we performed it in our little theatre in an evening with texts and songs under the title "sex and nervousness". I liked to play it on the piano and to sing the spanish bridge.

Sorry for OT.

Some of us (me too) have made the experience that it could cause propplemmms when you save a heavy synth project with many voices. A solution is to save the project with only 0 or 1 voice per synth and when you open this project again, you can raise up the polyphony. BTW, after reinstalling my DAW f...

You'll be excited when you can get the big synths: minimax, prodyssey, pro-12 ... b-2003.
They are really great instruments!

Compare: A Xite-1 costs 2,900 Euro, they say it has the performance of 140 sharks, you can fiddle with synths and effects and ressource hogs 'til the doctor comes. A used Pulsar 1 (4 sharks) you can get for less than 100 Euro. It's good enough for more i/o's, one or two more synths, more voices, per...

Well, you'd only need an Y-cable, as you buy normally for an external effect - that's all. Two Mono jacks -> One Stereo jack.
On a Pulsar 1 you could use the cinch inputs with adapter cables, I have some.

Cheers, Thomas

Maybe a used Pulsar 1, connected with your Luna via S/TDM is the cheaper solution. Aaaand - you have 4 more DSPs. 8)

Thanks for your hints, my friends,
but closing the door isn't possible, cos our girl-cats (they're called Whisky, Sherry, Tequila) need free entrance to ALL rooms of our flat. Otherwise our flat will be destroyed in a few hours. :x

We have 3 girl-cats. Sometimes, when we're not at home, they get a visit from various tom-cats. I imagine they say to the visitors: "Come on boy, they're not at home!" And he replies: "Nice to see ya girls, did you ever smell my new fragrance?" And he lifts his tail, and --- psss...

I'm sure you'll find a similar good offer in the next time. Xite will press down the prices of used cards.

Best wishes, Thomas
